There were some manhwa that had really depressing or heartbreaking storyline. The author would add a small scene on the last page. Showing they were just acting. They would show they together, alive and intact and smiling.😂. Sometimes, there would be an interview scene to see how character feels acting a particular scene.

@@AlexPlayz0412 I'm sure he didn't meant by just mere death or no. of characters, AoT focuses on the complexity of characters and makes the characters to be more realistic than JJK.
AoT's story - line is written far more complex than JJK and dives into each individuals to give spotlights - making the readers to focus on not only the main characters but each characters as human being ( I know everyone hates Gabi but we gotta talk about her character development ) THIS is what makes AoT cruel - it talks about the dreams and hopes about each characters with how they'd live up to this day but kills them in the most horrific way out of nowhere ( Take Bertholdt or Eren's mother as an example - she was killed by her own son )
However in JJK, there are small relevance into character depths ( e.g Geto and how quick he changes - could've talked way more about this )
As in for pure cruelty which shows human natures and death, AoT is more in depths as each characters are killed in disgusting way ( mostly womping and begging while getting ripped apart )
Sukuna does show a sense of horror but the sense of " good " and " evil " is overly shown unlike AoT which kind of lowers the focus you get from each characters ( you don't really try to understand sukuna... he is just " evil " and presented as a maniac )
I've wrote a entire essay but AoT does a better job on delivering actual touch of emotions while jjk ( both manga and anime ) is moreover into entertainment

Acting AUs are my all time favorite! My favorite example, even if it wasnt technically canon in the manga, was the OVA for Black Butler season 2 where they did a whole episode with this premise.
