The dragon mace is a great cheap 4 tick weapon as well that gives +5 prayer. Seems like a lot of people sleep on it since its attack speed got buffed.
I recommend doing ever slayer task at least once, it gives you a better layout understanding of gelinor
Karil's leather top and skirt are definitely recommended here. I tried with proselyte for the extra prayer bonus (90 def and using super combat) and was taking too much damage. As for the task itself, it is ok. Pretty slow. Stackable water orbs, shards, and decent alchs are nice. Having to pray and use food (and cannon) is not fun. C tier task. Worth blocking? Probably not since Duradell weights it pretty low. Skipping? Maybe.
Anyone remember people camping these for charms? :^)

Sarachnis cudgel is better than leaf battle axe, its 4tick weapon with similar stats at 200k
I grinded so long and hard days in a row to get to 75 combat for a konar task and I get 120 of these guys. No chance.
Quick guide on Waterfiends: Block task. Not enough points? Cancel task. Not enough points? Either stop training slayer ever again or remake account. :D

Not worth blocking as their task weight is so low. Better to just cancel them when you get 'em...

I hate waterfiends with a passion, these little fuckers are my most hated slayer monsters ever.
First of all, they brought out the WORST LUCKIEST DROPS I've ever had.
Not onl did I get Rune Javelins on my FIRST kill of the task, but when I killed my 4th Waterfiend of the task?
DRAGONSTONE DROPPED.
Since that, I've always skipper them to thia day
its truly an awful task. i did halfway and skipped it because i couldnt take it anymore. kharils is good but i found that armadyl armor is better at reducing damage. Just skip this task
