I do tuition and they gave me like lots of cgp books to prepare me for the 11+ and improved because when i started i was 8-9 in those books now im at almost 10-11 advanced in english and 9-10 in all the others!

i go to a grammar school in south london, its really bad and when i was in year 6 and i was all hyped about it so if your about to take your test, good luck but you'll probably not like it within the first year. btw the school i go to is an all girl school 😐

Hi, your video is much useful. My daughter is in Year 5 and practising the Cgp books to take the CEM exams. As we are from India can you pls explain when she have to take the Grammar test and further more preparations she has to do to get admissions. Thanks in advance
different counties will have the test at different times. they will mostly be taken in September once school opens. hope this helps!
I really want to find the differences between CEM and GL! I don’t know anything about Grammar school I came here! Please do a vid talking about the differences on CEM and GL! I would love it and would subscribe if you did 🥰 from Dani :) p.s: I am great at spelling, grammar, vocab and comprehension and im not bad at maths, but it isnt my strong point, which books should i get xx? cem or gl?
Hey, great question! The main differences between CEM and GL are the timings of the papers. Both exams assess similar strengths, but CEM focuses more on reading comprehension skills and a wide vocabulary. GL calls for extra strength in logical reasoning and spelling. Are these books for gl or cem ?
I used to go to a normal primary school but now I’m going grammar school is the 11+ much different than SATS
I personally have done the 11plus but still am looking forward to sats but sats is WAY easier than the 11plus like the amount of revision you do for the 11 plus than the sats is shocking also you need to get a lot of marks for 11 plus than sats i also know a couple of people tgar are average at learning and got very high marks for sats but failed the 11 plus so yes it is different.

My brother said he did ok.
He says he did good on short maths, decent on long maths, ok in word choice, meh in comprehension, decent in complete the sentence, and good in nvr. Keeping in mind he missed a few questions on sections, would you say he has passed?

i started practising in year 6 and i got in with only 3 weeks of seroius practise. For me the test was easy and i got 2nd place out of over 100 people

Huh there are normally 10k people and only 3k pass the test or something.

For me it was in the desired school but it might be in halls or something outside of the school

Srry if this is late but the 11+ is normally to get into a grammar school in year 7
you can't do it you can do 12+ and 13+ when you are 12 and 13

Do you need to be super quick in the test? Is the test too long? Im doing mines next year.
@@pakdramas4255 Yeah I have got the results and I passed! You do have to be quick in English and NVR and each test booklet is 50 mins long. Don't worry though! You will get a break! I suggest you bring a book with you and also eat chocolate before you go and during the break okay? MASSIVE THING I GOTTA SAY!!! DON'T STRESS OUT and try not to be sick! You should do both the king Edward and Queen Mary's exam just in case okay? Hope this helps and good luck! `Oh and don't let your friends over you because that is what happened to me and I was soooo lucky to have passed both so please don't do this horrid mistake okay?

Thank you soo much for the response, but now we joined with a couching institute. Thank you for asking, still it would be helpful for us, if you can share any of such online links, which contains the test papers, we found some but most of times they were not opening properly.

I have all of those books at home now ima fetch them out and do them.... UHHHHHH
I had then but my younger sisters were like "lemme stop ya right there" , they ripped them two days later!
Luckily they are older now so I will get the books again and keep them safer
