He definitely took it to far and unfortunately his body just couldn't take the stress anymore. Wish we could somehow bring the dude back to life. We definitely lost a rare individual, right babe? RIP brother.
Without rich I wouldn’t have become a gym god. I started watching him as a teenager as well, and I just turned 25 recently and just like you I always come back to these videos for some Inspiration and to get that nostalgia feeling.
I was following bigger by the day at 14 so I was doing my cardio before school and whenever he upped meals I’d have to eat them sneakily under the table during class 😂 and I’d go to the gym after school for 2-3 hours before heading out to house party at the weekend, that was literally my everyday life during bigger by the day

such a shame a great man like rich had to go early, always been a huge fan of his and chanel, I guess when he said in this video that he shouldn't of been out of breath doing 225 or 245, that is was more than him just needing to do cardio, but he lived his life as he wanted to at 100 mph down hill with his hair on fire, so much respect for that, most people look back in old age and regret what they didn't do. so respect Rich you lived as you wanted to, can't believe its been just over a year, and his birthday is coming up real quick, sad times but great memories and great motivation from the big fella.

Isn't actually too heavy, I'm about 110kgs and can smash 100kgs on the bench for days. Not far off what they are doing here, so wouldn't surprise me if they could belt out even more (especially if they weren't smashing piss)
My friends and I did something similar to this at this past years xmas party. It was a little different, but I didnt realize how badly getting drunk fucks with your bench. We did 10 beers each, then started at 135lb for 10. Then, every beer you drink, add 10 lbs. and deduct one rep (i.e. next beer drank was 145lbs for 14 reps, so on...). Shit gets hard around the 200lb mark...
