Day one of Sick Week 2024 Presented By Gear Vendors Overdrive was a huge day for records with fantastic drag racing conditions at Orlando Speed World. We saw Street Outlaws and drag and drive legend Jeff Lutz run hard, then Brett LaSala put down the quickest radial tire pass in drag and drive history! Does Cleetus McFarland have what it takes to get Mullet on to the same pace? He had a tough day, going into the sand at the end of the track and dealing with transmission problems.

Most impressive thing I've seen is Jackstand Jimmy going 8.50 with a 0 in the 8.50 class his first pass of sick week

Mr.Brillko(translates as four eyes) Gustafsson actually won this Corvette in a pink slips race!I remember him racing the streets of Stockholm in early 2000 in a Pontiac LeMans with 467 nitrous engine running in high 8 s.I raced my Malibu with blown 538 ex pro stock engine in Finland around these times wanting to go to Stockholm Open but It never realized due money issue as the 538 was blowing thru converter after converter.
He has his hands full today. That car was an unruly beast.

The Livestream is killer so far,only suggestion is cut the music when the cars are in staging and going down the track. The announcer trying to talk and music jamming in the background.

Can I make 1 suggestion please?... Can the team editing the videos enter the name of the person they are speaking with and the title of that person.. Eg. Garret Mitchell/Mullet or Brett LaSala/Snot Rocket.. Or if you guys talk to the Head Mechanic on a car.. Put there name and what they are working on. Everything else is awesome. 🤟

Fresh engine in snot rocket 2.0, he put it on the Dyno before swapping in this engine, i think it made 2,920 rwhp or so. Just shy of 3,000 rwhp.

That Swedish Corvette is just stupid violent and that seems to magnify how hard it jumps to the left down track.
I've seen people get engaged on the track, but getting married on the track is wild lol. Happy for them!
A couple I met through the 4th gen Camaro/Firebird world years back got married at the drag strip. Her in a white racing suit and him in black. They then got in their cars and raced each other!
Only thing i could ask for is somewhere you can see everyones times for the day. Thanks for all you do tom
Go Google Sick Week 2024 results. There is a pdf file that gets updated at the end of each day. It isn't done live in real time but better than nothing.
