- How to make your own Beeswax Wraps so you never have to use plastic-wrap again! Here's an easy step-by-step, it's SO easy!
These are one of the best eco-friendly alternatives you can make.
Beeswax wraps can be used to store food in the fridge, cupboard, cover leftovers or even wrap up sandwiches for school!
All you need:
- 20x30cm Fabric
- 2g Coconut Oil
- 20g Wax Pellets
- 2g Powdered Pine rosin (optional: the finer the powder the better, this gives you a stiffer wrap)
Vegan Wax Alternatives:
- Soy wax
- Candelilla wax

I am just gearing up to make some of these with my friend for Christmas. Do you have a recommendation on how much Candelilla wax to use? In other recipes it usually is converted to half the amount of beesewax needed, but I didn't know if you have found a sweet spot amount for these! These look so fun and easy! Thank you for the video!

Half is the recommended conversion rate but, I think it's really valuable to experiment as everyone's preference and material is different :)

Please move away from instructing listeners to pre-heat their ovens. I understand this is done because different ovens need different lengths of time to warm up but this level of precision is not essential.
