- Early European colonialists negated India’s legitimacy as a nation, claiming India did not exist as a unified geo-political entity during ancient times.
Sankrant Sanu turns the lens on the Western countries to examine their political history, existence and geographical boundaries a thousand years ago and questions the validity of European constructs like concepts of country, nation, nationalism and sovereign state, imposed on the whole world as the universal norm. These concepts are not universal but parochial, born out of narrow, fundamentalist and rigid creeds.
Indian nationalism is still stuck in European paradigms. To insist that a nation, a history or a tradition gains legitimacy only if it has textual validation is to trivialize them. In reality, the Indian nation is lush with organic cultural diversity, rich with living traditions, flowing with an unbroken continuity since ancient times, unified by the invisible thread of Dharma. It is time Indians broke free of limiting dogmas and recognized their civilizational reality.

Inscriptions of Karnata empire written in Kannada language always mentioned themselves as "Aryakandada Bharatkshetrada Karnata Desha". Remember Karnata were the only Hindu empire left during that time. If they themselves called their nation as Karnata country of Bharatkshetra, at the time British have not even arrived. This means the concept of India exists.
Never forget the fact that Shivappa Nayaka of the Keladi Kingdom was the first person to restart the pooja in the Kashi Vishwanatha temple. If a South Indian king was the first person to restart the prayer in Kashi Vishwanatha temple, the concept of India exist much before the arrival of British.

Great presentation, Megasthanes also gives boundaries of "India", Tamil Sangam literature also gives boundaries of Bharat as Jambudweeba.
Megssthanees lived in a era were there was a great deal of information- deficit. A Tamil literature called silapadhikaram calls tamilnadu as a land of Tamils. Jammbudeepa refers to indian sub-continent occupied by only tamils once upon a time. So India is a prison house of multiple nations. India uses terrorism as a instrument of State policy.
True....sangam literature has given a good description of all the architectures also prevalent across India.i recommend everyone to read it's English translation.

I think we need to differentiate between Nation & State. Indian State was the result of our anti-colonial efforts. Indian Nation is a very ancient entity. People knew who are Bhartiya & who are Malechas'.

Yes Ishan, people use to mix these two concepts in most of their talks. I always use to clerify that nation runs on ideas where as state runs on rules and since the propagation of ideas has no limits hence nation has no clear boundaries whereas rules are applied forcefully upto some extent of land therefore we can see the borders of states. And since nation is driven by ideas you can see similarities in the core of living pattern in each part of the country and its neighbours, maybe that is why we can call our whole subcontinent a nation.

also, take in consideration, botany. take all the plants ending with "indica/indicus" and as Bharatavarsha is not only culturally, but also ecologically diverse, you can see all types of plants are not found in all parts of Bharat, take those plant names ending with indicus, and join 4 points: Kashmir, Kanyakumari, Gujarat and NE. if country wasn't one, how these various part plants are named indicus? this goes for all species of birds, insects, animals etc.

One way to look from logical way, like since when lslamic invaded, Hindu could not fight back but the pandids ask punjab sikhs for help by sacrificing their holy guru to save Hindus in whole India. 9. किसी और भाषा के मुकाबले संस्कृत में सबसे कम शब्दो में वाक्य पूरा हो जाता है ।
10. संस्कृत दुनिया की अकेली ऐसी भाषा है जिसे बोलने में जीभ की सभी मांसपेशियो का इस्तेमाल होता है ।
11. अमेरिकन हिंदू युनिवर्सिटी के अनुसार संस्कृत में बात करने वाला मनुष्य बीपी , मधुमेह , कोलेस्ट्रॉल आदि रोग से मुक्त हो जाएगा । संस्कृत में बात करने से मानव शरीरका तंत्रिका तंत्र सदा सक्रिय रहता है जिससे कि व्यक्ति का शरीर सकारात्मक आवेश ( PositiveCharges ) के साथ सक्रिय हो जाता है ।
12. संस्कृत स्पीच थेरेपी में भी मददगार है यह एकाग्रता को बढ़ाती है ।
13. कर्नाटक के मुत्तुर गांव के लोग केवल संस्कृत में ही बात करते है ।
14. सुधर्मा संस्कृत का पहला अखबार था , जो 1970 में शुरू हुआ था । आज भी इसका ऑनलाइन संस्करण उपलब्ध है ।
15. जर्मनी में बड़ी संख्या में संस्कृतभाषियो की मांग है । जर्मनी की 14 यूनिवर्सिटीज़ में संस्कृत पढ़ाई जाती है ।
16. नासा के वैज्ञानिकों के अनुसार जब वो अंतरिक्ष ट्रैवलर्स को मैसेज भेजते थे तोउनके वाक्य उलट हो जाते थे । इस वजह से मैसेज का अर्थ ही बदल जाता था । उन्होंले कई भाषाओं का प्रयोग किया लेकिन हर बार यही समस्या आई । आखिर में उन्होंने संस्कृत में मैसेज भेजा क्योंकि संस्कृत के वाक्य उल्टे हो जाने पर भी अपना अर्थ नही बदलते हैं ।
जैसे :-- अहम् विद्यालयं गच्छामि।
विद्यालयं गच्छामि अहम् ।
गच्छामि अहम् विद्यालयं ।
उक्त तीनो के अर्थ में कोई अंतर नहीं है ।
17. आपको जानकर हैरानी होगी कि Computer द्वारा गणित के सवालो को हल करने वाली विधि यानि Algorithms संस्कृत में बने है ना कि अंग्रेजी में ।
18. नासा के वैज्ञानिको द्वारा बनाए जा रहे 6th और 7th जेनरेशन Super Computers संस्कृतभाषा पर आधारित होंगे जो 2034 तक बनकर तैयार हो जाएंगे ।
19. संस्कृत सीखने से दिमाग तेज हो जाता है और याद करने की शक्ति बढ़ जाती है । इसलिए London और Ireland के कई स्कूलो में संस्कृत को Compulsory Subject बना दिया है ।
20. इस समय दुनिया के 17 से ज्यादा देशो की कम से कम एक University में तकनीकी शिक्षा के कोर्सेस में संस्कृत पढ़ाई जाती है । संस्कृत के बारे में ये 20 तथ्य जान कर आपको भारतीय होने पर गर्व होगा ।

Already Christian theologist have written Carnatic Music books and that is the text books in Colleges in Tamilnadu. Lot of historically wrong information is given and our kids study that in Bachelor of Arts courses. Similarly all fine arts books are re-written and exams are conducted on that to make us believe that is actual history.
The assault on the civilisation is multi pronged and what Islamic invasion and British Invasion for 1000 years has been done in the last 70 years of independent India under left historians.
Whatever resistance we had earlier has been dismantled by our own people who do not understand this culture and its value
