Ninja Express Chop Review

- Hi Guys, today I’m reviewing the Ninja Express Chop. LINK to Ninja Express Chop: amzn.to/1ZJo3kA It measures 10 inches tall by 6 inches wide and weighs less than 2 pounds. It comes with the processing bowl that holds 16 ounces. The bowl is bpa free and it has a no slip bottom. The blade, splash guard which you can also use a storage lid, the power head with on/off pulse button, quick start guide and instruction manual. Let’s test the Ninja by processing onions, garlic, tomatoes, herbs and nuts.
To use, put the blade in the bowl, put your ingredients in, we’ll start with garlic cloves. put the splash guard on with the flap open. Place the power head on top and secure it. Plug it in. Hold the bowl and press the on/off pulse button. Make sure that the blade stops before removing the powerhead. Take the blade out.
Don’t put more than 2 cups dry or 1 cup liquid ingredients into the bowl because it could overflow. Also, cut ingredients into 1 inch pieces. Don’t put a whole tomato in here, this is a small chopper and it’s not designed to handle large pieces of food. Also, don’t overload the machine, it’s not meant to be a full size food processor.
All the parts are dishwasher safe on the top rack. Of course the power head is not, just wipe it with a damp cloth and dry.

I got one and I use it almost everyday ! It does amazing job on chopping vegetables like carrots onions tomatoes céleri. Very usefull to blend (I use it for blending eggs or to make smoothies). Eggs salad, chicken salad, even for hard cheese ( if you dont feel like grating, you can use it to shred very cold cheddar, mozzarella or parmesan). One word of advice: if you want to make salsa all in once, put the hard ingrédients at the bottom (onions garlic and herbs) and the tomatoes at the top. It will make à wonderful job.
Thanks for sharing 😀
This unit is very sturdy and wonderful piece. I am using this for over 2 years now. It is going very smoothly till now. No problems no hazards so far. It does its job beautifully. I bought it after watching your review. I use it almost everyday and needless to say I now dont even need my mixer grinder. The machine is great for chopping and pureeing. Thanks for this video.
Thanks for sharing, Sangeeta 😀
You are welcome!
Thank you for this video. I needed to see a video review in order to decide whether this chopper fits my needs. The videos on Amazon were completely useless, but yours is comprehensive and detailed. In seven and a half minutes, you told me everything I needed to know.
Glad to hear it 😀
4/9/19 Update: I bought one and used it a couple of days ago. Best tool ever. I chopped celery with it effortlessly for a last minute chicken salad I needed to make. SO glad I added this to my kitchen - highly recommend it.

Thank you! This is a great demo and I no longer have any question in my mind as to whether I need one of these! A+++
Great 👍😀
thank you so much! this is by far one of the best demos ever- just my style. after comparing around and pricing- i will be purchasing today. keep up the great work.

They should continue this chopper indefinitely, it's great! I much prefer this to bigger, bulkier, more expensive processors. It does everything well. Motor can't handle overload torque, but that's user error at that point. Love this thing!
I'm late to the party but just read about the product and found your review. Thank you for chopping different ingredients and especially for your helpful reminders of how much food to use, what size to pre-cut it, and all that information for chopper newbies like myself! Now I'm going to order one for myself! (True story: My eyes started watering when you showed the chopped serranos.)
😆
I think you could solve the issue of uneven chopping texture (such as the nuts) by pausing after a pulse or 2 to gently shake the machine before continuing to pulse.
Very good demo for a very good product - I have just purchased one exactly like yours and was glad to have your explanation before I tried using it the first time, so thank you very much. I was amazed at how quickly and easily my little Ninja Express minced parsley as well as garlic, green onion and cucumber. I've owned several food processors over the years, some quite large, all big name brands with fancy attachments but none were as good as this little dynamo. Thanks again!
Glad it was helpful 😀
Just purchased mine from Walmart today for about $17. Needless to say, I was very impressed with the results. I placed around 7 ice cubes in the container, pulsed, & the ice came out like snow! This is perfect for smoothies!
Thanks for sharing your experience with us :)
Thanks for mentioning this as a possible use. I never thought about doing that but that would be awesome for summer months especially.
Walmart in Australia 🇦🇺??
Could you tell me please and how much is it??
Thank you
which$$?? definity costs more than that lol
She probably got it for that. They are 19 in Target.
Just got mine at Walmart for a little over $17. Can't wait to use it. Thanks for the review.
Well done and informative tutorial. Thank you!
happy new year bestkickenreviews

Thanks 👍😀
Best demo I have seen ...to the point...clear and concise ..thank you
Glad you liked it 😁
Thank you for making this video. I appreciate your making a great video as I saw this on the Target site and was hoping that someone reviewed it. Thank you so much!!
"BestKitchenReviews" is among the best kitchen reviews I've seen! A fair selection of tests and an honest opinion of the results. No nonsense; just what is needed to help a prospective buyer decide. Well done. Keep it up.

+bestkitchenreviews is the best reviewer out. Whilst she's doing something she explains what she's doing.I like the way she says not bad & she doesn't criticise it.. Keep up the great work +bestkitchenreviews
I loved the wee container but I hated those extremely sharp blades. They used to cut me to ribbons practically. Great video again Anita.
Excellent review I have been looking for. Thank you, definitely now convinced, I am buying this
Glad it was helpful 😁

Thank you for your review, I’ve been contemplating on buying one, your review help me decide to purchase one .
Wonderful 😀
Excellent video. I just might go out and buy one after watching your video. Thanks for the review
Wonderful! Glad you liked the review 😀
Thanks for the demo - I'm sold. Great
+Credsida Miller Hi Credsida, glad you enjoyed the review :)
I don't understand why no manufacturers besides Ninja care to put two sets of blades on the spindle, one above and one below. Isn't it a bloody common sense???
Very happy with mine I just bought today thanks to you and your helpful video. 😁
Wonderful! 😀
I like how she held the head and pulsated with the other hand....definitely the best selling point for me. I wasn't too happy with the chopped nuts either, but oddly that wasn't a deal breaker.... I think i'll watch this review again when my wife is sleep to firmly seal the deal and I'll probably get it tomorrow. Thanks, great review!
Glad the review was helpful :)

I love her.
Thanks for the video! I got one yesterday but upon opening, was curious about cleaning and if any food residue gets in the top power pod? The rubbery part that connects to the blade?! 🤔
I have one and I love to make sauces and chop ice in it.Its so compact and low price and it works great!!

Hi, I have watched both this review and the one of the ninja master prep with the additional two containers and the higher wattage. Which set would you recommend? I like the idea of having the additional larger jugs but am also limited on kitchen space and saw some reviews that the tops are harder to clean on the larger set due to many crevices which are hard to get to. The smalle express chop seems to have a more simple design that looks easier to clean.. also is there a difference in how well the small bowl performs between the two sets?
Thank you for this video! My friend gave me his Ninja but with no instruction manual. The tips were helpful.
I received my chopper and I agree with this review. It's better than the excellent Black and Decker chopper that we had for about 15 year (it finally died and went to chopper heaven). I will say that the plastic lid of the ninja keeps SOME of the mixture off of the motor, but some did indeed get through. Great product, not very expensive. I hope this one lasts as long as my B&D did.
Thanks for sharing 😀
Awesome, thank you! After 3 of your videos I know exactly what I want to buy!
👍😁
Very nice video. Good audio, good speaking, and no wasted time.
Thanks 😀
Great review on how well it chops put you left out a very important part show everyone one how much built up food get stuck in the drive shaft and how hard it is to get it clean. I put mine in the trash I don't want to get anyone sick from bactirear foam food I could not clean out.
Great demo! Learned a lot 👌🏻
😁
Thank you. That was a really helpful, informative video.
Glad you liked the video, Debra :)
Thanks for video. This convinced me to buy one for myself, and one for my neice-in-law.
Glad to hear it 😃👍
I just finished watching the whole demo! Great job. I never subscribe to demos but I am making an exception for you! Subscribing! Thank you!!
Hi Winona, glad you liked the review! Welcome to my channel 😀
Is there anything that chops stuff like potato or other vegetables into 1.5cm cubes this chops them to small?
Very helpful! Thanks! Adding to cart rn!
Great! 😁
One thing I don't like is if you use any liquid, stuff splashes into the motor stem at the top and you need a toothpick or something to get the gunk out, needs a barrier to stop that
This looks convenient. Just bought a Ninja processor but this would be good for smaller amounts of salsa or whatever and its not too expensive. Thanks for this!
What is the difference between Ninja Food Chopper Express Chop with 200-Watt, 16-Ounce Bowl and Ninja NJ100 Express Chop?
Thanks for sharing. I was about to buy it today at target, but I wanted to check reviews or demos first and i did not like it because the tomato does not look as I expected, now I prefer to invest in something more expensive but more effective, thank you.
Thanks for sharing 😀
I just need to know whether this will grind seeds to fine powder. Anyone know?
Mine gets dirty from under the motor head, the part that's black and looks like a star, it connects to the blade when you put it on to start chopping, even with the splashguard it gets dirty when liquid from tomatoes or sauces jump up, is it normal? Will it affect the product in the long run?
Thank you, very clear and to the point...good job 😊
👍😀
Great Presentation
I am a person who doesn’t like to read instructions, so I bought this item couple of months ago🤣, I have been using it wrong, never used the lid when I tried to chop my vegetables 🤣🤣🤣. Thank you for the video
I recommend this product 💯
👍
It seems so hard to clean the motor head it after onions 🌰. I had to pick the pieces out of the spaces; please advise!
Wow. Answered my question right off the bat. Was wondering how it’d chop garlic.
😁
Nice review! Thanks!
+Ray Hi, glad you liked the review :)
How do I clean the part that the top of the blade fits into?
Can the Ninja express blade fits any other chopper brands? I must fibd one with glass bowl . Can you review one with a glass bowl?
I have one of these. I love it. I use it to prepare my batches of sofrito.
Wonderful! 😀
You can hear mines spinning but the blades doesn't move. Please help
happy new year bestkickenreviews
+Steven Galiyas Happy New Year Steven!
Does it make paste any food like boiled vegetables?
Excellent presentation
Thanks 😀
Very Nice explanation 👍🏻
Thanks 😀
Nice!! I'm buying this tomorrow.
Hi, enjoy the chopper! Please subscribe if you haven't already :)
Can i use this for block cheeses like cheddar & mozzarella?
Well I have one...barely ever used it then today it broke after I chopped some chorizo, onions and garlic??? This is why I'm here, I am trying to fix it....can't seem to open the darn thing to access the motor??? Anyone knows???
Thank you so much for the video. 👏👏👏
You're welcome 😀
Is it usefull to make penaut cream?
Can you blend beef or chicken with it?
Will it grind large amount coffee bean?
I have this processor for 2 years now but never used it... I Do like it but idk why I don't use it😩
Good and informative video.
Thanks 😀
i want one blade .where did i got the blade???
Would recommend this for 76 year old man (no teeth) to chop or puree cooked meats?
I cannot get the motor to line up with the blade.
Does this work for curry pastes?
seems to be a decent product. great video. TFS
+cbelindadavis Thanks Belinda, Happy New Year :)
Great review! I was looking around for something of this size specifically for garlic. I already have the Ninja 1000 watt blender, but its too big for small task and to I'm familiar with the blades sharpness. I'm sold on this no objections... for around $20 you cant beat that. Going to pick me up one today.
Thanks, glad you liked the review :)
Grab me one too
Can you do a review on the Ninja Kitchen System Pulse (BL201)
How can i order a part for ninja chopper
Thanks for sharing ❤❤❤
You are so welcome 😀
so uh how'd you clean the express chop? I just got mine and I'm at odds on how I should approach cleaning it. The dish washer is sadly not an option
Good video.
What about meat grinder?
Thank you for the demonstration. I just purchased the Express Chop. I have never used anything like this… and the instructions really are insufficient for a newbie.👍🏻😊
Glad it was helpful! 😀
I lost my red splash guard. Do you know where I can get a replacement? Phone number? URL ?? etc.
Bought one LOVE IT
Just do the pulse?? I have gone through about 4 of the little processors and this is the best- you can unhook and put in fridge in the same container- it's just so nice- love it.
Im buying it now thank you
Awesome, enjoy it :)
Can you easily and reliably make hummus with this? Is there a means to add oil or other wet ingredients during processing?
Hi, there’s no way to add any ingredients while processing. Add some ingredients for hummus, process, scrape down and add the rest.
I have one. It seems legit but I don’t like that it does not lock in place. It’s not secure at all. You have to pulse with two hands
Very Goid Product, I also use for Blending
Great 👍
Price pl for today on amezon need 1
How does it do with Carrots?
Two questions:
1. How well would this puree meat?
2. Can you use this to make nut butters?
If no to both, what would you recommend that's powerful AND budget friendly ??
Thanks!
Hi, no to both. I would recommend a standard food processor. Here is a playlist of food processors I've reviewed. I would recommend one of the Cuisinarts. Hope that helps :) Also, here is a video of grinding meat in a food processor: czcams.com/video/BFgGpWM69GU/video.html
ye kaha se ...kasy or kitnay ka milay gaa....please batayen....delhi main..
From where to buy price pl
Is using a spoon to get every piece of say garlic the easiest way to do it? I don't want scratch the plastic so i've been filling it up with water so all the garlic or whatever floats then putting it through a sieve, then i can just hit the sieve on the edge of my pan to get it all out.
Hit me up if you've got a better way to get all the pieces stuck to the sides and bottom.
+Frank Booth Hi Frank, try a silicone spatula, the side of it wipes all the garlic off the container 😀
ty i'll try one of them
Oh I saw you finally! And you look beautiful : )
Thanks 😌
PRICE & FROM WHERE IT AVAILABLE
+bestkitchenreviews , can you tell me if the blade comes off of this after washing ?. My other one does & it cut me very badly
What about Kneading Ata ( Kneading Flour)
This cannot knead flour, you have to buy a mixer or larger food processor for kneading 😁
I have this. its nice. best part is easy clean. bad part not very powerful
Can't it blend smoothly
Thank you very much. Do you recommend any manual choppers?
I would stick with the electric choppers 😀
bestkitchenreviews sounds good. 😄
