Have you seen Cannonball Brad's review on the galaxy? He pointed out a few issues he had with his two galaxies. Would love to know if his problems were valid or if he had just got a lemon batch.
Well, seen as mine requires a heavy pull back to dislodge the nozzle from the hop (though I have since dropped a bit of silicone oil in there and it is far easier now) if it is the small pot metal part that pulls back the nozzle then it would not surprise me if it does break. I've left a comment over there. Apparently WE are aware of the nozzle spring being shit, and are working on updating them, so might be best to leave off for a bit. Apparently it also uses Gen 5 mags, but my old style extended mags fit fine.
@@MrLilredmachine I wouldn't mind that "small pot metal part" breaking eventually if it served no other purpose aside from being an aesthetic feature, but the thing is shaped like a hook for pete's sake, which leads me to believe that it's an actual functioning part. You'd think that the nozzle return spring would be solely responsible for pulling the nozzle back into the bbu and not work in conjunction with a tiny pot metal hook. Anyway, I look forward to your upcoming review video. I literally search for WE Galaxy videos on the site daily so I probably won't miss out on your review. That's how much I'm invested in this pistol even though I don't own one yet. XD
@@davidwanc11 well, I decided to pull my finger out and get the shooting test done today as they are a hot topic at the moment. The video should be up tomorrow if I get the time, I'm filming, editing and uploading to do it though as I'm back to work the day after. I can give you an idea of how it went. Terribly. 😂

Didn't think of that! I'm also UK biased so the thought of having one and not being able to use it for 8 months of the year due to the tiny gas capacity was definitely leaning on me when I said that. 😉
I am too mate. 👍 I was originally a bit skeptical but it's nice to have an AAP-01 with some care taken over the finish and externals. Can't wait to get the firing test done.
It has a bit of a feeding issue with the 50 round mags.. the WE 50 round mags had mine out yesterday...... a gun that won't fire its own companies mags..... very disappointed.
Yeah, i made a bit of a booboo with the comment about using G series mags. The Galaxy uses the style of mags that come with the WE Gen 5 MOS G17, apparently they are different to the gen3/4 mags that everything else uses. This means that mag compatibility isn't great, even with WE's own stuff.
This gun only takes the magazine it comes with and the magazine that comes with the gen 5 MOS EU series pistol that WE make. Unfortunately it's not very cross compatible.
Hi mate, it's a green gas pistol so the gas goes in the base of the magazine. If you want to use Co2 with it you will need to get a Co2 magazine with it seperately. Any Co2 gen 5 Glock mag from WE will work for example.
It's a Glock-ish frame with a totally custom upper receiver. The AAP-01 which this is somewhat similar to (though internally is totally different) has a good resemblance to a Ruger mk4 but this WE is totally sci-fi. Or fiction in general. XD
