I typically don't like retrowave with lyrics, but NINA not only is the exception, she might be my favourite in the whole genre.
I get that, there is a fine line with lyrics. You might want to check out Magic Dance, some of Moonrunner83, Sebastian Gampl, of course The Midnight and Michael Oakley, Dana Jean Phoenix, Wolfclub, Jessie Frye, Magic Dance and Ollie Wride. They have some very good tracks with lyrics that I like.

The whole Retro Wave Genre is like a neon demon shapeshifting faster and faster into something that is both future and past. It is true art, flying at 40.000 feet, making the people being dumbed down by mainstream music raise their heads and believe again. Words dont describe what a beautiful happening retro wave has become. It is like a wild flower growing in the middle of a highway. It is pure energy.
