I love to listen to this song when I'm driving especially at night, it makes me feel like I'm in the eighties and I'm free from all the problems of the both the world and my own and the only things that exist is peace, laughter, joy, and love
Edit:(I’m actually someone who was born in in the 90s but sometimes I wish I was born earlier, I make look and talk like I’m in my twenties but I feel much older.)

I found out of this band because of the movie "drive", and ever since I heard the songs "a real hero" and she never came back" I fell in love with their sound and had to find more about them and purchasing "inner world" was definetly not a mistake!! Such an amazing underrated album!! Just hope they make another album soon!

I'm an 00s baby (01) born and raised in this era but man do the 80s have the best music, fashion and movies. I hope the 2020s are similar with that. The 80s everyone seemed hopeful and peaceful about the future (aside from scared of nuclear wars since it's still a thing to worry about).

I just played this song in my 1996 Jaguar XJ 6 on its original cassette deck through a adapter and I absolutely love it. I am restoring the old Jaguar and once I finish a project on it, I take it for a drive. The sound and the engine blend uniquely. Despite pandemic this is my weekend passion and I love it.

The thing is with this band... I could not honestly say I love everything they do as a band. But a few of their songs ... Without you ,Real Hero.. Hit me straight in the heart 100%.. And encompass nearly everything I felt as a youth in the 80s..loss of innocence, some regrets and the melancholy tween that. And literally best few years of my life back there in 80s. For what I am thinking to be kids who grew up in 90s. These guys have the 80s atmosphere, vibe down totally. If I didn't know better. Could easily believe someone if they told me Electric Youth were a 80s band I never heard of before. Without you, and Real Hero ,and this one. Are like full on electronica 80s classics I'd never heard before. Moving and emotional.
