This is the perfect sermon to reflect the verse in the bible "let the dead bury the dead". As christians we should only worry about Christian things. However, I do completely disagree on the stance of not judging others. That is not biblical. We are called to discern, and to judge. Without judgment, is blind acceptance.

You are right of course. However, should we just accept it without a voice raised in protest? Generally, when we think of martyrs, we mainly consider it was only the ancient Christians but that's not the case. Just here in the US there has been over 2 dozen church shooting since 2000. Olympic Games implies Olympian Gods & Goddesses feasting and reveling, with hermaphrodites present: it is that simple. But the stupid is strong with some people. My country has matured a lot since I was born, more than sixty years ago. When I was young, two religions were prevalent: Communism and Christianity. Communism has all but disappeared. And so has Christianity. We are now mostly indifferent, not hostile, to the Christian faith.
Don't boycott the Olympics.. The participants are innocent, and have trained for years for this event. Do as this preacher has advised...put on the armour of God, and pray against the evil of the opening ceremony, and support the participants in the Olympics.

This (Christianity blasphemy at the Olympics) is/was NOT tolerance, and the Olympic committee “anemic apology” completely insufficient. If DEI, mocking a group is marginalizing and hateful. Vilifying. Just imagine had the group chosen an Islamic themed tableau. So it’s ok to mock Christians and Christianity, but not LGBTQ+, Islam, or any other group you can think of? THAT IS hypocrisy.

Generally, when we think of martyrs, we mainly consider it was only the ancient Christians but that's not the case. Just here in the US there has been over 2 dozen church shooting since 2000. The people that were murdered may not have been Orthodox but that doesn't negate the fact that they died for their beliefs. Around the world there are Christians that have to meet in secret and risk their lives if they "came out" as Christians.
Can't we agree to forgive them 7 x 70, pray for repentance but still have the moral courage to say that this is not right?

I am commanded by God to abhore sin. An event that approves the blaspheming of God is one that I will not watch. I will pray for the repentance of those who participated in blasphemy and those who approved it.

He said the Olympic games and the commonwealth games is all always about the games but about the Rituals which happiness in the opening ceremony.

They attack because they are NOT afraid of God or of Christ's followers. They mock us because they despise us for rejecting their evil.

This ceremony, and the now famous scene, had nothing to do with Christianity. In case you haven’t not noticed, the Olympic torch was lit next to Athens, not Jerusalem. Olympic Games implies Olympian Gods & Goddesses feasting and reveling, with hermaphrodites present: it is that simple. But the stupid is strong with some people.
My country has matured a lot since I was born, more than sixty years ago. When I was young, two religions were prevalent: Communism and Christianity. Communism has all but disappeared. And so has Christianity. We are now mostly indifferent, not hostile, to the Christian faith.
Don't boycott the Olympics.. The participants are innocent, and have trained for years for this event. Do as this preacher has advised...put on the armour of God, and pray against the evil of the opening ceremony, and support the participants in the Olympics.
