- The full version of the Roland Tembo deleted scene from The Lost World: Jurassic Park movie.
Source of the clip is a Chinese bootleg DVD I had for years. - Krátké a kreslené filmy
I feel that if this scene was kept in, it would have improved how both Roland's and AJ's characters are presented in the movie. Throughout the film, it feels as if AJ is just there with Roland without a purpose.
*RJ
*Ajay
This scene deserves to be added back in, and it deserves to be remastered to a 4K version
Along with all the other deleted scenes. This improves the movie, and the part were LUDLOW breaks the baby rex's leg helps make sense... especially after you notice the bottle of wine and cup next to the baby when Nick frees it.
Roland is the best part of Lost World, Goldblum is a close second
Sandwich
I remember watching this scene on tv many years ago when i was falling asleep i thought i dreamt it for years i thought this wasnt real
Why was this not in the final cut? It's great.
***** Because if it was, there'd be no way in hell that anyone would be able to root for Nick Van Asshole the eco-terrorist, Mrs Sarah Magoo, or Ian Patronizing Malcom over this guy.
Dustin Rausch That's the idea. They removed it because the studio thought this would make Tembo a likable character and they wanted him to be a one dimensional villain that we should hate. Too bad for them he was still one of the best characters in the entire movie.
shinobi2003 exactly I mean Tembo wasn't really villainous sure he was going for his own big prize a T-Rex but as said in parkpedia he had his own strict moral code and even after he captured da rex, he was deeply heartbroken by Ajay's death plus he turned down Ludlow's job offer "I believe I've spent enough time in the company of death" he eloquently said.
+Franco Carmona lmao ikr
Because then people would like Roland too much and hate Nick.
Nick is supposed to be one of the "heroes" that saves the poor dinosaurs from the "evil" hunters and company workers.
I love this! This should have been in the movie.
Its also on the BluRay.
This scene means means one thing. Someone is going to get hurt.
awesome the lost world jurassic park [1997] film - deleted scene : tembo fight - (full version ) !!!!
Three cheers for Mr Roland Tembo! HIP HIP HOORAY! HIP HIP HOORAY! HIP HIP HOORAY! :D
I pick fights with rude customers in Starbucks like this all the time
One-handed? You lad.
yes, of course, the only difference is that in most of those fights you are the one who ends up beaten
By the way, 3:22 makes me laugh uncontrollably.
Ikr, ROFL
The fight was a little corny especially with the punch sound effects but I love how they show Roland to be a not just a bad ass but a real gentleman with morals.
Definitely
@@optimusprime8543 yup there was another part where he saw Sarah's stained in blood he checked 2 see if she was all rite as believed she was hurt and even told her later 2 make sure none of his men told Kelly about Dieter's death.
Can't believe they cut this instead of other scenes like the one that shows a little girl get attacked (who survives thankfully) when Hammond describes the incident well enough without showing it
+Flying Rancid M00n Fish to their credit the girl incident was in the original novel and the girl did survive there so they made that scene a nod to that one.
***** Yes but im saying since it was explained by Hammond, they could have exchanged that scene in favor of keeping this scene, I thought this one was more important in terms of character development
+Flying Rancid M00n Fish It was a stupid scene - at the very least the fight. Without the fight, it'd be a fairly large introduction to a relatively minor character.
They erred on the side of simplicity, and I think it was the better choice.
AsifIcarebear3 Stupid in your opinion. You keep yours, I'll keep mine
Flying Rancid M00n Fish Not all opinions are created equal. Yours sucks. Keep it if you wish.
This scene is so good. This would have made Roland one of the best characters in the movie.
It's worth noting that if Nick Van Owen hadn't replaced the bullets in Roland's gun with blanks (much later in the film), the people killed by the T-rex (including the guy who had the panic attack over the snake) wouldn't have died. I'm nothing like a gun worshipper, but there are situations in life when warriors are absolutely needed. Just ask any survivor of the Nazi death camps.
3:22 - so nice to have friends.
WHY DIDN'T THEY INCLUDE THIS SCENE?!?!?!?!
This was a very big part in the movie! Explained so much, otherwise they are there hunting for? Didn't explain so much
every version Ive seen has this scene.Fucking epic badassness
The guy that he fought disliked this.
The Best of Roland Tembo
Gotta give Roland credit. He’s a tough fighter when it cane to those guys harassing that waiter. 2:56 That’s gotta hurt. 3:22 And that hurts even more.
Jerks are invariably surrounded by jerks; but that doesn't mean that the betas don't know just what a jerk the alpha is. (They've suffered his abuse themselves; they just don't have the guts to stand up to him.) All of which leaves me convinced that the collision between that pole and the bully's manly parts had nothing remotely accidental about it.
Now that’s full version and that’s one of the last scenes I like
This is hilarious!!! They should have put this in the movie!!!
The sound effects
I thought I saw this scene when it was shown on tv
A shorter version of the scene makes it into the movie
If anyone has the film with this scene incorporated into it please contact me...it was shown on fox several times with both deleted scenes in it.
XanArt21 I saw it on Fox a few years ago with the scenes in it, but haven't since. I've recently edited an extended-cut of The Lost World with this scene and the boardroom scene incorporated. Not the best quality, but they fit fairly well.
my version had the whole scene
What a great deleted scene. These days, I really appreciate Roland Tembo. If they were trying to paint him as a villain, they could have tried harder. He is a strong personality, as is Nick van Owen. And Ian Malcolm. Sara. Eddie.
He was more an anti-hero than a villain.
Omega of Gallifrey what’s an anti hero
Brilliant, lol.
1:42-😶👏
Either way he still a badass in my opinion
DADDY!!
Another unoriginal comment about this should've been in the final cut. Yes, yes it is!
Anyone know where this scene takes place in the film, I want to know.
Pretty early. I think before we meet Vince Vaughn
@@crakatoot5480 yeah I saw a clip of it in a TV airing, right before Eddie's Workshop
would you or anyone reading this please also be able to upload the deleted scenes from Toy story of terror and the ultimate blu ray of prisoner of azkaban?
I thought this guy died in the previous ones?? Bald one.
You're thinking of a completely different character
+Thomas Nossrati lmao
on the one hand, this scene gives roland and arjay more character, on the other hand, its just a incredibly mean scene, giving me two reasons to love it!
