Minecraft AFK Gold and XP Farm - 1.16/1.17 - 1000 gold ingots per hour!

- Welcome to another video! Todays video was actually asked for by a viewer. PogJuice requested a big tutorial on how to make a gold and xp farm in minecraft! So here it is! This gold and xp farm is largely based of Ilmango's and Rays Works designs, but we really like it ourselves and have used it in multiple of our worlds! I hope our explanation of it is also useful to you!

Do the spawn platforms have to be magma blocks? That seems like it'd be hard to work with in survival mode :(
Yes, they have to be magma blocks sadly. Because only zombified piglins and magma cubes can spawn on these, so you don't have to deal with the other mobs. It is a bit easier in survival when you sneak on top of them, as you do not take any damage. We highly recommend changing sneak to toggle, as otherwise it will hurt your finger in the long run haha
does the smooths stone have to be smooth stone or is it just a builinding material?
Hey HANNNE! Great question! You can use other blocks instead of the smooth stone blocks! Only the magma blocks and glass have to be those blocks specifically!

What does the alarm piglins do? I saw that your video doesn’t have that.
U rename a piglin and put it outer than the outer ring so that it keeps telling the new spawning piglins tht he damaged piglins so tht the farm works continuously.
