I'm sooo happy to find you I've been looking for this recipe my Family is from St Michael Pa. In Cambria county and Bedford everyone I'd visit I'd take dozens home I've never found anything like it here in OHio. Thank you cant wait to try this
Hey Dee, I'm from Somerset area, just about 40 miles from you and I agree with the "Gob" name as well. the only thing I disagree with. I don't like that sweet icing recipe. I make mine different. I do the type that uses flour and milk cooked on the stove until thicken and cooled and then creamed with sugar and vanilla is way less sweet and more creamy.

My Aunt used to make these, but her frosting was not a Buttercream. If it had been, I would have liked them soo much more. I've been watching you for so long, it almost seems unnatural for you not to be wearing an Apron.😉
