New 2024 Toyota Yaris Cross Hybrid 130 - Small City SUV

The updated 2024 Toyota Yaris Cross small SUV has been unveiled in Europe,the 2024 Yaris Cross in Europe brings with it mild styling changes to the exterior and interior of the SUV, improved safety features, and a more powerful hybrid system.
The overall exterior design of the new Toyota Yaris Cross retains the appearance of its predecessor, but adds the Juniper Blue color option. For the Premiere Edition version, in addition to the unique new Urban Khaki paint color, the car is also equipped with 18-inch wheels with a new design. Both the Premiere Edition and GR Sport versions are equipped with the latest Hybrid 130 engine, in which the GR Sport version will have additional sporty accessories from the Gazoo Racing team.
Toyota has detailed a suite of updates to tech and safety features for the small SUV which includes the addition of a 12.3-inch customisable digital instrument cluster on higher spec models (lower spec models come with a 7.0-inch display) as well as a 10.5-inch infotainment screen.Toyota says includes more advanced voice recognition capabilities, over-the-air updates, and also supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
the European Yaris Cross also now comes with a ‘digital smart key’ giving up to five users the ability to lock, unlock and start the vehicle with their phone.
The biggest change for 2024 in the Yaris Cross is a more powerful "Hybrid 130” petrol-electric drivetrain - shared with the 2024 Yaris hatch in Europe - which combines the existing 1.5-litre three-cylinder petrol engine with a larger electric motor and a revised power-control unit.
The result is a Yaris Cross hybrid with 130hp, which is up from the 115hp and Torque is also improved with the Hybrid 130 system, increasing from 141Nm to 185Nm, while the claimed 0-100km/h acceleration time has been reduced by half a second, to 10.7 seconds.Where CO2 emissions are concerned, the impact is modest with the new system achieving a best-in-class 103-122 g/km.
pricing and specifications for the Yaris Cross will be announced in December, ahead of deliveries in early 2024.
