  • {UPDATE just thinking, securing the middle section before the muffler when tightening everything down might be better for fitment purposes}
    2022 Trident 660 upgrading the exhaust to a full Homologated Catalyzed exhaust. im a big fan of Arrow ever since my Aprilia SXV 550 with a Arrow Ti exhaust , that was one good sounding moto! i later on purchased a Vespa GTS300 and went with a Arrow exhausts directly shipped from Italy as well . beautifully crafted light weight Italian pipes !
    I recently took the bike in for a couple recall items, so i went back to stock for a couple days till the recall was done, this is actually the second time this exhaust is being installed on the bike, so you may notice some soot and color on a few pipes. next video will be a ride and review of the exhaust. it sounds so good under load , reminds me of my Aprilia a little , its so crisp sounding , one of the main reasons why i bought this bike in the first place .
    P.S. A lot of manufactures sell on Ebay to get world wide clients, and theyll ship to Cali with no issues :]

      Yeah mate it’s gold, super instructive. Definitely Arrow would not have made a better video explaining the install

    Looking nice on the bike! Doesn't sound much louder than the stock exhaust, or I'm wrong?

      It's hard to tell on video but it's quite a bit louder , and under load it sounds soooo good ! I'll try and capture the true audio of it !

      Thanks bro! How much is lighter in weight comparing to stock exhaust, do you feel that you gain some power when you put it on the bike?
      It is hard to find some info abut arrow exhaust regarding Trident 660

      @@ivanjanci2688 Im not sure the exact weight but it is significantly lighter , and I can't tell if it's faster or not until I get it tuned . Honestly tho I just love the way it sounds and looks

    Hey man, Great Job and thank you for the guidance. Just got this exact exhaust for my trident. Is it easy to remove the Db killer on this?

    • @averageasianalchemist69
      @averageasianalchemist69  Před 10 měsíci +1

      if you look close to the tip you can see where its been spot welded usually in 2 spots, its as simple as filing down the welds a little bit and wiggling it out . i did use a stick to tap the Db killer from the backside its a reach but if youre carful you can knock it out without any damage.

    I just got a brand new one and they told me that mods could void the warranty. I really want to get an exhaust

      Since it is a full header back exhaust i can see that being possible, but and exhaust causing damage is highly unlikely especially with these newer fuel injected engines. Since you do have a brand new moto id probably wait a couple oil changes and dealer services before doing any modifications to the engine, and its always wise to keep your stock exhaust system just in case you run into engine issues you can swap it back to stock and have the bike diagnosed, 9 times out of 10 itll be unrelated to the exhaust.

    Do you need a flash on the ECU ??
    I have the Baja orange and looking for an exhaust man.

      if youre looking to squeeze that extra couple HP than a Tune is for sure a good idea, but new ECUs have fuel trim learning capabilities so its not necessary, your bike will auto adjust to the changes . just make sure not to delete any sensors like the o2 .

      Tec fang exhaust are very popular with the trident community, they all pretty much sound alike so you just gotta find one that looks good to you

    Not gonna decat and tune!!

    • @averageasianalchemist69
      @averageasianalchemist69  Před 10 měsíci +1

      a tune would definitely improve some areas but its not necessary , im not looking to race the bike all the time its more of a daily commuter with a nice sounding exhaust to me .
