A quick update about the problems with my Kabolite Wheel loader K966. (Spoiler alert…it’s gone) But don’t worry I will be making more videos of projects I am doing. Stay tuned.
Its a good model and very powerful, yet like you said its a sub par manufacture quality control on building it. Mine I got for a fraction of price sight unseen yet told it had issues. Once I got it and tore it down to the bare chassis I could see overstep of the way where the manufacture assembly had major faults. I have rebuild it and upgraded many things along the way including lights etc and now its a amazing little unit. ITs a shame companies really dont give a crap about the customers some times.
Fully agree with you there. The basic model was really nice, but the electronics and hydraulics were awful. Glad you got yours up and running with some work 👍🏻
I watched your video about the bucket not staying up while under load. Most likely your sub trim was not right and the valve was partly open when the stick was in the center position. Quick sub trim change in your radio likely would have solved the issue. I have a kabolite and have experienced this.
Thanks for your comment, but I did mention I think that I tried to adjust then subtrims. I have other hydraulic models and understand the principles. The factory had confirmed that the valve was defective.
Hi , I wonder if you have received a refund or just sold it as is ... I suffer from the same issues you've been having ... oil leaking form the pump and valve block ...
@@expatrchobby I had to go through a lot of tedious work and wait time to get it working as it should ... it was worth it at the end, but I agree it was supposed to be a lot better at this price tag.. it seems at that price there are no better options ... I got mine at around 1460 USD with a sound module .. but it was leaking from the pump / valve block assembly

I would steer clear of this one, maybe all Kabolite models.

I returned it, and after a very long wait got a refund. Not a high quality model, just a high price.
