I've been away for a while, sorry, but work and personel situation made it difficult to do everything I wanted to. But I'm back with a new project, the new Lesu forklift, what a mega model. This is first in the build series and has to be an unboxing! I'm still trying to find the best camera and sound solution, but it's getting better.

A quick update about the problems with my Kabolite Wheel loader K966. (Spoiler alert…it’s gone) But don’t worry I will be making more videos of projects I am doing. Stay tuned.

So my second video in the series is how my model looks without the hydraulic valve! I have to send it back to the seller for a replacement and hope that that is the problem. I am not happy, but I can't do anything about it at the moment but wait.

No lift holding. With a spray can of only 400ml the arm starts to lower on its own. I can push it down with just one finger.
Bruder CAT320 converted with MagomHRC Finally Working

After many years of playing with this conversion I finally have everything working. I did end replacing the MAGOM ESC for the pump. It just doens't like working at low revs and kept stuttering. It's all functional now, and will go for it's first shakedown in a weeks time. I have not yet paintend it but it will get a matt black and CAT yellow colour scheme.

Hello, my hydraulics doesn’t move sometimes. I have to move the joysticks around and it kicks in. Does anyone know why? Thanks

What tools are needed for the axle screw size?
Servo sub trim needs adjusting for that channel

as for your problem. why u had it apart why not just replace the 3 valve block with lesu valve block. mine ever did this . thats my fix. because its not a cheap model. . i have version 3 . and its all fixed now. teething problems when first built like anything first made . once u re do things there a beast

yes there First version has problems. but the new version 2 / 3 are way better

I’m going to use Frsky Tandem x20 with 3D sticks. Allows me to use a small reciever.
Finally someone with one been looking forward to seeing one to push me to get mine.

Its a good model and very powerful, yet like you said its a sub par manufacture quality control on building it. Mine I got for a fraction of price sight unseen yet told it had issues. Once I got it and tore it down to the bare chassis I could see overstep of the way where the manufacture assembly had major faults. I have rebuild it and upgraded many things along the way including lights etc and now its a amazing little unit. ITs a shame companies really dont give a crap about the customers some times.
Fully agree with you there. The basic model was really nice, but the electronics and hydraulics were awful. Glad you got yours up and running with some work 👍🏻
I have read that kabolite diff axles are junk, where i can find better axles?! Are they junk? Pls tell☺️

In the name of budget rc these Chinese are really selling dump cheap product every person owning this loader and excavator have many problems

I watched your video about the bucket not staying up while under load. Most likely your sub trim was not right and the valve was partly open when the stick was in the center position. Quick sub trim change in your radio likely would have solved the issue. I have a kabolite and have experienced this.
Thanks for your comment, but I did mention I think that I tried to adjust then subtrims. I have other hydraulic models and understand the principles. The factory had confirmed that the valve was defective.

Hi Mister D, did you resolve the issue with youre Kabolite? I hope so! Was surfing on the web and found that you filmed the k966 hydrolic pump issue. Unfortunately bad luck i think.
Hi Marcel, no the Kabolite never got fixed, returned it for a refund.

Hi , I wonder if you have received a refund or just sold it as is ... I suffer from the same issues you've been having ... oil leaking form the pump and valve block ...
I returned it, and after a very long wait got a refund. Not a high quality model, just a high price.
@@expatrchobby I had to go through a lot of tedious work and wait time to get it working as it should ... it was worth it at the end, but I agree it was supposed to be a lot better at this price tag.. it seems at that price there are no better options ... I got mine at around 1460 USD with a sound module .. but it was leaking from the pump / valve block assembly

Hello. it is unacceptable to see that a part breaks or other failures occur. At the price we pay for our machines, there should be promise of results for a long time before some wear and tear or otherwise. I don't know how it works in the assembly plants, but today everything goes by quickly, and I'm sure that the testing and checking of the parts as well as the tightening of each element is neglected. Honestly it's disgusting... even if you send back the parts in question and they send you new ones, the fact is that it breaks down prematurely!!! That was my rant...😐😏 (I who am very interested in this machine the k966, that's why it disappoints me to see this kind of problem happen). Good luck and see you soon 😉🖐️. Nicholas of France

Hi dude. I learned from K336 that having the same issue. You just have to adjust the “Sub trim” Try and error few adjustments, positive and negative offeet, and it should be good as it should be.
Unfortunatly that didn’t help. I tried it on advice from the factory. But after inspection they found a mechanical problem.

@@GUNPASSION The valve block was the problem. It could not be fixed and needed to be replaced. The company that makes them didn’t have any in stock and said that the waiting time could be up to 3 months.
Valve block is out of adjustment you might be able adjust it with the trims

Nice unit yet same Mohave frustration issues. I do wish the quality control of higher priced units were addressed at the factory. As for us consumers tearing down brand new units to rebuild ground up to get it running right just should be. Even if its just loktiting everything..But the good is we know its down right then.

Something like this is very annoying, because you have to take the new model apart. But when you have repaired everything, you will have a very nice model of a small 1:16 wheel loader. i think you can manage it.

This is a problem of internal leakage caused by poor internal sealing of the reversing valve. It should be a process and precision problem. I am very disappointed.

My 4200XL had that problem but was an external leak as well
All the kabolite models are junk garbage. They all have major major issues and absolutely 0 quality control. I had the 336gc excavator and it was absolutely terrible. Go with the rc4wd models as i did 50 plus hours on the excavator not a single issue leak or anything. Kabolite is crapolite
Thanks for reply Adam, but I have seen reviews of RC4WD products with issues. I think every company has problems, the biggest issue is how the customer service is from the factory or shop.

I just have a lot of bad luck with this model and the quality control. And now have to wait a long time for a new valve.

Maybe the valave is not in neutral position. Or the cylinder is damaged and there is an oil flow through cylinder
We think it’s the valve. It has been returned to check. I’m waiting for the result. I will post a new video when I know more. Thanks for your suggestion.
