thank you, it really has been super easy. You are not kidding about the halogen bulbs being hot, even being on for only like 3-5 seconds i burnt my fingers lol, wear gloves!

Me, too. I bought a 2020 Honda Civic LX in November 2020 with the Cosmic Blue Metallic paint. The design is great. I think it's a nice balance between a conservative and sporty look.

I did the same install with the same LED’s but it seems like the trunk light is still sorta on while closed ?
I did this. It’s been couple months now. Do yours stay lite really dim like there getting little power. Even after I close doors and drive they keep a slight light to them. They don’t completely go off. Then did at first but not now. Do you have the same problem?
So i just bought some led lights for the interior and i thought it would be 6 bulbs total needed but you only installed 4. Did i order too much? Got the same model too- 2021 Honda Civic Sport Hatchback

My 2017 hatchback lets me have an option to have the fronts on when I open the doors ? There should be a switch.

j'ai un petit problème sur les lumerieres de lecture avant de ma Honda civic 10th. sans faire exprès j'ai appuyé sur la lumière et depuis cela quand j'ouvre les portière les lumières ne s'allume plus.
deplus sur tous le compartiment avant de la lumière il n'y a pas de bouton pour mettre sur automatique. Sur le manuel conducteur ils disent de mettre le bouton sur automatique mais je ne trouve pas le bouton

Quick question though, I tried doing this on my 2019 Civic Lx and when I put the new LED bulbs I tried turning them and then my lights completely shut off, I put the oem lights back on but now my map and some lights don’t turn on at all when I press the button or when I open the door :/ what should I do?
sounds like a short.
May have to take that in for servicing

This is my next step on my Hatch.
But I dont be able to find the rear "sport" badge, in Italy and in all the Europe 1.5 turbo engine is sold by the dealers without this emblem. But when you go to purchase the Civic, in the price list it is described with the name of "sport" to distinguish it from the other 1.0 petrol and 1.6 diesel versions.
Could you please tell me where I can buy it? If there are American websites that sell it? Because in Italy and Europe we can't find it as original as yours.

Ebay is a good site to check for badges. Just make sure they are oem and not cheap quality. I'm sure there's plenty out there in the market 👍
As far as interior lights, there's a tool you can use on Amazon to check if it fits your vehicle. Use that tool so you can be sure it fits.

But the difficulty is finding the oem badge here in Europe, because Honda Europe and its partners don't provide them for our geographical area 👍👋

Ik this is a bit late but when you installed these did the center dome light dimly stay on? I recently installed these exact LEDs on my 19 Civic and it stays on even when I switch it to off :/
Same but with ‘16 civic, I’m gonna buy a different brand, don’t want the battery to drain

@@chris_timefk8 I figured or else you wouldn’t have posted the video 😎. I’m not good at changing things out myself but I figured that was easy enough. I’m actually going to change out my interior to Katzkin leather this week. And I want my roof wrapped.
I just did my map lights and dome light on my 19 coupe ex-t. I noticed that after I shut the car off the led lights stay on but very dim. If I get out and lock the car they will fully shut off. Almost like they need a resistor or something? Do you have this issue?
I had the exact same problem with the exact same car except mines a ‘16 not ‘19, and for me the bulbs stayed on dimly even with the doors locked, I’m gonna return them and try a different brand cause that’ll eventually drain the battery
@@xdagger975 they do go out completely after about 20 minutes I noticed. I do think I need a new battery though. Mines original, and the winters here are rough on them.

Are they all still working fine? I seen an Amazon review saying someone had to replace all but 2 because the rest had burnt out.
I switched mine to lasfit recently which are a lot brighter and higher quality but these work fine!
@@chris_timefk8 I installed those too but I noticed they make a weird sound when they go off after you open the door, have you noticed that on yours by the way only the map lights make that noise when they go off after either 15 or 30 seconds it depends how you configure it in your car.
How have these held up for you chris? Some of the reviews say they didnt last very long, however mostly positive reviews. Going to grab a pack of them i think. Great video!
They’re fine. Never had any issues. Although recently I upgraded to Lasfit interior bulbs and they made these bulbs look dim.
But these ones are fine. Better than the stock that’s for sure!

There aren't any visor mirror lights. One thing I did forget is the glove box lights tho.
@@chris_timefk8 Seriously? I have the 2021 EX and if you open the mirror on the visor, there's lights in them that light up. You should have it if you have the Sport Edition.
Naw bro. No lights on mine. It's just a solid piece of plastic next to the mirror where the light would go.

Like you, I just bought my 2021 FK7 two weeks ago. This is my brand new 4th Honda Civic. It started with the 91 CRX Si, 2001 EX, 2005 EX, and now the 2021 FK7. This car is the best by far. The others don't come close. I can honestly say that I love the car. I have big plans for the car and the excitement makes me feel what I felt when I got the CRX.
Keep doing what you're doing. I will give you some advice having owned Honda's for over 30 years. If you can, go after JDM/OEM parts for your ride. Mostly all after market parts just don't last and are not up to spec for Honda standards. For example, some lights may burn the connector sockets. After market tail lights change colors and fade from being exposed to UV. I am a big believer you get what you pay for. Keep that in mind. Enjoy the car, brotha, as I am enjoying mine immensely. Thanks again. Looking forward on your progress.

I need help, I was installing these and using a screw driver then the screw driver touched the metal and it sparked, now the lights won’t work what do I do 💀
Replace I think fuse 21 under the hood it's a 10 amp

No. I haven’t had any problems with these since I installed them.
Maybe you had another slow drain somewhere. When the light switch is off, there is no current getting to or through the LED. I havent had any problems yet.
@@chris_timefk8 I installed the map lights and great! But when I installed the domes it must have blown #21 fuse. Should I replace #21 and try again with a new set of light?
