There's so much of these video creator dudes here on YT, but 99% of them shoot such cringy stuff for their clients, but with your channel I feel like I am actually learning from a person who IS A PROFESSIONAL, and who DOES KNOW WHAT QUALITY VISUALS LOOK LIKE. Hey Mark loved the notes about being creative within the budget, I would love to learn a bit more about your location scouting proccess. Maybe even a quick costing breakdown of your last music video and some tips on how you can make a small production feel big!

@@markbone honestly that is great! You don't have to go into numbers, but I think a lot of people could learn that a great location can help make up for a small budget, even just talking about what you look for in a location, or how you are constantly taking photos when you are out in the city, would be valuable for people to lean about. Just today I had to make a list of 20 locations in city to shoot in. I will send it your way.
More BTS!!!!!! Would love to see a video about lens effects like the one you noted in this video with the broken glass. Those looks were neat to see in the music video and was wondering how you did those.

Hey Mark, I love a ton of music and therefore many music video styles. There is one that had a very distinct spark to it and I would really love if you could comment on it's style. Parklife by Blur, directed by Pedro Romhanyi. I know it is a typical style for that time, but it gave me a very strong feeling of "wow, that dude delivered the band's message, vibe and attitude so well". As curious as I am about your opinion on the visual aspects of the style, I would love to have a grasp at how a filmmaker not only reads those elements so well, but also speaks them to the audience in an even more impressive manner!

I would very much prefer, once you can talk about the comercial you shot in berlin, how you got that gig. Like... did they already have a script a concept and then they were looking for a director? how did they choose you or how did you get to direct that comercial? Did they hire from the beginning and asked you to come up with a concept and or script? I would like to know the story behind all this, before the production. I would like to learn how you even got to direct comercials in the first place. Those are things I think are interesting too.

Sooo 1 question, when creating the directors treatment, with images of the vision or style you’re aiming for, are you finding images online or are you taking the images yourself to show the vibe and mood you’re aiming for. Always enjoy the videos btw mark! 🏆🙏🏻
Shotby Ogcody I’m doing a mix of both shooting and finding but the majority (like 90%) of the images are found online (mostly from Vimeo, or other blogs)
