- Bonnie is given the honor of joining the Helios society, whose members all have genius level I.Q.'s.
From Season 1 Episode 18 "Chariot of Gold": This to Devon's chagrin, who was expecting a nomination himself, but has to be content with honorary membership. However, it soon becomes clear that high ranking members of the society are planning to ensure their own survival by committing the perfect crime. For this, they need to get their hands on Kitt and to get rid of its driver, Michael Knight.

I remember this episode. It's called Chariots of Gold from season one of Knight Rider (1983). One of my favorite episodes.

I often wonder what happened to the video tape of K.I.T.T, it would have been handy to jog Michael's memory in season two in FLAG had kept it, but it raised more questions than it supplied answers to my mind

My favorite episode of season 1. This was the first time they wanted to turn KITT against Michael.
KARR would have been an excellent allied of Helios.
He has the means to do what the Helios Society needs and the society can assist KARR with getting rid of Michael and KITT.
I would have loved for well known bad guys to team up once in a while. Imagine Garthe and KARR or Goliath equipped with KARR's AI.
There were the KR 1 & 2 PC /and PS2/ games, developed by Davilex in 2002 & 2004. In this we had Garthe and KARR team up against Michael and KITT.

Never having Garthe and KARR team up was a big time missed opportunity by the writers.

@@jv8296 actually… imagine Garth found KARR on the beach, takes him back to his lair and transforms Galiath with KARR’s cpu. Imagine a turbo boosting Galiath? Or better still, once KARR is destroyed by KITT and Michael, blinking light at the end… but then you see Garth pick up the box with the blinking light, and take off… what a cliff hanger that would be lol

OMG,those top loader VHS VCRs I remember they were $1,000.00 a piece,my dad bought our first one in 1983 and it lasted us until 1997. It was a Zenith and by that time in 1997 you couldn't find components for it and he ended up handing me $100.00 to buy a new one at Walmart,by that time DVD players were starting to become the next big thing,good memories.
If you have the part files and a 3D printer, you can probably make new components for it.

Ever notice in these episodes, if someone's after KITT. they got the scene of kitt doing stuff like someone went and recorded him and like hey let's steal or destroy him
2:35 How odd! Someone had been taping/recording the shows within the show itself! All the footage on that VHS cassette tape derives from the show's own cameras!
it indicates that both Helios and FLAG were on universal studios mailing list. Jennifer Knight plays a similar tape in Season 4 episode 1

Wow a Betamax tape for sure this is the 1980s.
Funny thing is that high IQ people would have come with better plan, and that in the episode it's shown that Bonnie failed their IQ test, while as a high tech engineer in real life she would have been more likely to pass it than Devon.
It's one of the best Knight Rider episodes, but the plot still has illogical moments. That was the biggest problem of Knight Rider; real stinker scriptwriters.
God this shows sucks in retrospect. Went from pitch dark to full sunlight in 2 mins. Why is Bonnie in clothes, heels, and has her purse? Why use any of the shirt buttons?
I always liked April better than Bonnie.
