- Forty years ago, a group of Brigham Young University student performers traveled to China and put on a show that made history. This summer, the university is celebrating that anniversary with a return tour that highlights the relationship BYU and China have shared since 1979.

I just found this video - AMAZING!!! I love everything about this. Out of the park!
Went to see your show tonight in shanghai. What kind I say? The best gala i have ever seen in Shanghai. You guys brought the roof down. Amazing. Shame, there are only 2 shows in shangshai for this big productions. Lucky me. I also got to take a photo with the world famous BYU accapella. A dream come true for sure. Probally this accapella group made me notice BYU years ago when they sang their hearts out in the Newsies Mashup.
I'm an old man. Tears of joy for this marvelous group. And how about that mandolin player?!!
LOVE this performance! Nice job Mark Geslison (Band Director) and musicians as well. What a fun arrangement of "Old Joe Clark" and medley. We miss the days of our performing tours at BYU...but are grateful for all the trips, sweet memories and amazing people who have been life-long friends. Blessings all around.
Here is celebrating Mary Bee Jensen (Folkdance FOUNDER), who passed away at 100 years old this past year, and to Kim King, our amazing Banjo player who just passed away this last week. May they keep dancing in heaven and sending us inspiration....still.
Absolutely love Mountain Strings - saw you guys in concert and it was amazing. The dancing is great too.
