Get the Funk Out is truly their Funk and Rock combo huge hit you should check out. Much different from Hole Hearted and More Thsn Words.

The song's writers Gary Cherone and Nuno both come from Catholic backgrounds. You're just reading Protestant 'sola fide' crap into it.
