8:00 It would be interesting if they sold separately attachment levels in the spirit of making the tower bigger without the redundancy.
Kinda like how the early 2000s Lego Harry Potter sets were.
Was thinking the same, I miss for instance the torture room from the movie and also the could make one level into a round staircase (also like the movie).

That is amazing! Must have been so hard not to say anything earlier! The interior seems similar to the tower of orthanc interior, but I am still incredibly excited. Can wait for your video of it in your new studio! Thats gonna take up quite a bit of shelf space.

Looks great. How the floors slide together is awesome. I knew I would get this when it was announced last year and I am very happy with the build....pricey but getting used to that ha ha

Great review. AMAZING set, soo much thought and detail were obviously put into everything. I wish I could collect every theme, alas this one does not fit into my collection, nonetheless it's an incredible LEGO Lord of the Rings set! Be safe and well.

That looks like a great set. They should produce a height extension pack as a separate set (containing a couple of different interior spaces). It would probably sell well.
The inside is like the Disney version of what it would really be like! A desk to write letters! Dining room! What a laugh! Plus throne room? Well Sauron is just an eye so that's funny.
Looks incredible. Just feel that rooms are even a little disappointing. Can't take that library or the mouths letter writing room seriously.
But looks incredible from the outside and great minifigs.

Ordering day 1. I’d love to see another section added to the tower but I’m not buying a whole set for that. But I see a parts order in the future.

It's no coincidence that this set was announced right now. With two new LOTR films being announced last week and the teaser trailer of Rings of Power dropping today. Lego has done such an amazing job on this. Can't wait to get it. Bring on June 4th.

That is a really cool set. I couldn't do it, but I wonder how it'd look to get a second set and make it a full 3D model so it didn't have an open back. It'll be fun to see what people do with this set

just wondering... is the mouth of sauron figure in this set the same as the one in 79007? They look exactly the same to me
This is really beautiful, especialy the exterior, but honestly I expected much more details for such a big and EXPENSIVE set. Rivendell is much better imo.
Now I really hope for LEGO to start FINALLY doing smaller, cheaper LotR sets..
Next LOTR set is gonna be an $800 Minas Tirith

This Barad Dur is awesome! Nice to have a castle for baddies! I'm imagining your Castle area is a mountain valley, with Rivendell at one end, and Barad Dur at the other. I finally have the points for $200 off Rivendell, and the budget to pay the other $300 lol. I'm waiting for a 2x point day, because that's like $45 in extra points! Then wait for a good GWP for Town Square, and I'll be on my way towards $150 off this new Barad Dur!
Rather than making it taller with extra parts, I would invest those into building out the back portion 100%
