these competitions requires a lot of $$$.... I just completed the Mesa Arizona Police Course and man oh man ....My 2006 ST1300 bike took a beating but I passed ..... we drove through rocks, over curves, in sand and desert, and the bike takes a beating on tires, clutch, and brakes..... Police officers put these bikes through a real test !!!!!!

Dude riding this beast off-road is crazy - must have been scary to do! Anytime I have to take it down a gravel road, I don't enjoy the experience lol.
      Thanks for watching!

Good for you on training yourself on that kind of riding. It is challenging for sure!
I took an advance course from a Cop Motorcycle trainer and found out why the cop bike clutches were going out so fast!
It's hard work, but even with my 398,000 miles on five different ST1300s, I find that for a non-cop like me, that kind of riding isn't my bag! :)

It’s great you could take a class - I might try to pick one out in the future to learn to do this a bit more by the books.
Those clutches take a lot of abuse for sure… one of the reasons I was looking at STs is that the clutches are a lot easier to swap than bmws where you need to basically split the whole bike in half haha.

This came up to my recommended, sparked some interest and I saw that you owned an FZ6! I've daily'ed an '07 FZ6 the last year and really enjoyed how maneuverable and responsive it is, do you think it's one of the better quality bikes to tour and daily with? How do you enjoy this Honda and would you recommend anything to upgrade from the FZ6?

      Hey Marcel!
I definitely put miles on my fz6, and did a couple of long trips with it (some of which I documented on my channel).
I really like it, I think it’s a great bike and solid daily. It can also tour pretty well, but it’s not close in comfort to a dedicated sport tourer like this.
The only 2 upgrades I did to the fz6 for touring were a shad seat and 1 inch risers, both highly recommended. I could go 200 miles with the stock seat but now with the shad I can go to 400 much easier and in more comfort. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

Hm. This was on our driving test. Fun thing is, I can still do it with any generic bike. Even a shadow vt1100, or an old honda bol d'Or 900.
