In order for the referring Chime member (“Referrer”) to qualify and receive the $100.00 referral reward and $10.00 temporary SpotMe Bonus Limit increase, and for the referred person (“Referred”) to qualify and receive the $100.00 referral reward, all of the following conditions must be satisfied: (1) Referrer meets SpotMe eligibility requirements and is part of the SpotMe Referral Incentive referral reward campaign; (2) Referred has not previously opened a Chime Checking Account (“Account”); (3) Referred opened a new Account between January 1, 2022 and December 31, 2022; (4) Referred opened the new Account using the Referrer’s unique referral link; (5) Referred received in the new Account a Qualifying Direct Deposit within 45 calendar days of opening the Account; and 6) Referred activated their physical Chime Visa Debit Card within 14 days of receiving a Qualifying Direct Deposit. A Qualifying Direct Deposit is a deposit of $200.00 or more by Automated Clearing House (“ACH”) that comes from your employer, payroll provider, gig economy payer, or benefits payer OR a deposit by Original Credit Transaction (OCT) from your gig economy payer. Bank ACH transfers, Pay Anyone transfers, verification or trial deposits from financial institutions, peer to peer transfers from services such as PayPal, Cash App, or Venmo, mobile check deposits, cash loads or deposits, one-time direct deposits, such as tax refunds and other similar transactions, and any deposit to which Chime deems to not be legitimate are not Qualifying Direct Deposits. Members will not be enrolled in SpotMe automatically. Members must qualify for SpotMe and enroll manually through the Chime App in order to receive the temporary SpotMe Bonus Limit increase referral reward. Members may earn no more than $50.00 in SpotMe Bonus Limit referral increase and may earn no more than $1,000.00 in monetary referral rewards per calendar year (January 1, 2022 - December 31, 2022 and January 1, 2023 - December 31, 2023). No member’s SpotMe limit may exceed $200. Any earned SpotMe increases from this referral reward in the Member’s bonus queue (“Bonus Queue”) not yet added to the Member’s SpotMe limit (due to the promotional limit cap) will be added to the Member’s SpotMe limit on a rolling basis as the previously added SpotMe increases from this referral reward expire. Once the temporary SpotMe bonus limit ends, Members may no longer earn SpotMe increases on this referral reward, however the earned SpotMe bonuses in the Member’s Bonus Queue will not be lost. Any Referrer SpotMe Bonus limit increase referral reward will expire 184 calendar days from the Referred receiving a Qualifying Direct Deposit. If an eligible Referrer loses Bonus Limit eligibility, and the Referred completes the above conditions, the Referrer will receive the $10 temporary SpotMe limit increase referral reward only upon regaining Bonus Limit eligibility. Referral rewards will generally be provided within two (2) business days after all the above conditions are met. The Referrer’s account must be in good standing in order to receive the referral reward. Referred individuals acknowledge that payment of any referral reward may result in the Referrer’s knowledge of the Referred’s establishment of a new Account or enrollment in a product. Chime reserves the right to cancel or modify the terms of any referral reward offer or terminate a member's eligibility at any time with or without prior notice. Credits of $10 or more will be reported on tax form 1099-INT for new members (Referred). Credits of $600 or more will be reported on tax form 1099-MISC for referring Chime members (Referrers). Just pay for smth that’s within ur spot me limit. If u don’t have enough, it puts u in a negative balance, that’s ur spot me being used, that negative balance goes up to ur spot me limit and when u put money in ur checking acc, u then pay the remaining fee that u owe

Does it work with Apple Pay at restaurants?
Hi Adam, thanks for reaching out! As long as you're making a purchase at a participating retailer, Apple Pay will work. To add your active Chime card in your Apple wallet, open the Wallet app on your phone and enter your card details. Follow the instructions in your Wallet to fully activate your Chime card. You may be directed to call and verify your account! 🔗💰
Furthermore, regarding SpotMe it only covers Chime Visa® Debit Card purchases and doesn’t cover money transfers (like sending money from Apple Pay Cash to a Chime account), linked account transfers, or other non-debit card transactions.
SpotMe does cover cash back with a purchase and ATM Withdrawals (out-of-network fees may apply).

You can send boosts to your contacts from the Settings screen or Friends section of your app. Once you receive a boost from a friend, it’ll expire on the 1st of the following month. Members who are already eligible for SpotMe can currently send and receive up to 4 boosts every month. There’s a limit of one boost per friend per month. Members who aren’t yet eligible for SpotMe can receive 1 Boost each month from a friend and boost them back!

If your total deposit amount for the past 31 days is below this minimum, you’ll lose eligibility for SpotMe. (You can always re-enroll when your deposits are above the minimum again!)

If you have a government direct deposit $804 per month and you have been using the platform for about a year I can receive up to $40 spot me per month. Now ,I could possibly receive a $200 spot me, from Chime, but it is not likely. I recieved '$20 spot me at first, and was raised to $30 and on to $40 fairly quick, but even with a $804 Social Security Disability Insurance direct deposit every month I don't think it is to likely that I could ever be up to a $200 spot me.
I know some peope with it
It takes time but the spot me does rise.

@@Chime $missfatality710 It has been closed three times every time you guys say you're going to put the credit in my account you make a final decision right before I get that credit saying that it is a justified spending even though I was at work and my purse was locked in a safe. I've contacted five of your customer support agents and talk to six different people. For them to keep giving me the same run around right before I'm supposed to get the credit you guys send me the notice that there's no error and I just asked for all the information on my investigation today because it's going to my lawyer. Because I can prove I was at work on camera the entire time and have my clock in clock outs to prove again I was at work when $400 out of my account was spent at a gas station across town.
