I don't know if any of the people are here that were in live chat that gave me some advice. But I want to say how thankful I am to this community for helping me realize how mistreated I was by my father as his employee, I've started a new job as a cook at a bar. And I heavily relate to that one short in which Thor said when 'you're overworked so hard a normal amount of work feels like you're standing still' I'm of course paraphrasing. But it's so nice to be treated like a human, and have normal expectations. And not expectations of working 24 plus hour shifts for $12 an hour with no overtime
Wow, everybody plays PoE now. Honestly, despite the problematic launch on consoles (which was kinda expected apparently) it's very much deserved, this league has been fantastic so far.
Saw you playing this and I wanted to try it. I made a character and got my first level up. I opened that starchart of a skilltree and I must admit I almost uninstalled it. It is REALLY newbie unfriendly to look at.
@Yakkosprite I highly recommend finding a guide, it is not noob friendly, but the degree of customization it allows you is awesome, if youre a witch and you want to trek over and get some marauder skills you absolutely can. For your first character though I would definitely search up a build to use at least as a framework
Don't be scared by the skill tree!! That skill tree is the same for ALL characters/classes. The only difference is WHERE those classes start from on that skill tree. Remember this: ANY class can play ANY build. If you want to play a "caster mage", it would be better to choose a Witch, because she starts on the TOP-side of the skill tree (where you can find Minion damage/defense, Spell power, Cast speed, Elemental resistances, Mana regeneration nodes etc). The same applies to other characters and what you want to play.

PoE is like linux, it's made some changes to be more user friendly but you'll greatly benefit from reading some guides
