Close, Ohio! Thank you and thanks for watching 👍
Thanks for mentioning details (e.g., supplies, tips, and clear video quality) you use as well as your easy way of teaching!
One of the best vids I've ever watched! Thank you!!!
Great video, thanks :) I would love to see how you soldered the ring shank to the backplate/stone setting :)
Great tutorial, thank you!
Thanks so much for this great tutorial!
This was helpful! Would have liked to see how you hold the ring shank while soldering. I feel I have a hard time keeping things in place while doing the ring to the plate. Thanks!
Same. This is what I needed help with the most and she skipped that part. It's still a great video though :)
Congratulations, great job. Thanks for sharing. Greetings straight from Brazil.

What is the block you use to solder on?? With the lil holes? It looks awesome
What is the red tip grinding drill bit you use?
Please come back

Jennifer Sharpe You’re welcome! Glad to help!
Thank you so much! I love watching your videos. They are so helpful 💖
I’m glad they are helpful! Thank you!
Thanks for the video! What type of pickle do you use?
I use Rio Grandes pickle. It works well for me and lasts a long time.
I just found you and your videos are amazing!
Sorry to ask, but for the stone base, can I use 24 gauge sheet?
Thanks and keep doing your videos...
😘
I use 24ga for all my projects. I wouldn’t go any smaller cause the metal will bend.
For your ring shank do you use soft or medium hard?
Gao Yang I use soft metal. It ends up hardening when I put it in the tumbler.
👍
So you soldered the double band before cleaning the silver? I thought we can't do that because the solder won't flow? Thanks for the help. I'm a newbie silversmith
Hi, thanks for asking! I made this video a while ago. Now I usually sand the back of the silver plate before I solder any ring shank on. I haven’t had any issues yet.
Thank you kindly for offering this information. May I ask what type of silver wire this is? Can this be done with half round wire?
This is either 12 or 14ga round wire. I’m sure this can be done with half round wire.
@@thehautebohemian5753 Thank you for sharing your skill set and advice. 🙏🏼
What gauge silver wire did you use?
Just saw it in the description sorry
Nice! (I’ve been cheating, there’s a double half round wire you can buy premade, then just saw the ends apart) but your way works for any weight and shape of wire!😃
Hi. What Guage is the silver wire?
This is 14ga.
Hi, what is "hand etching"? Do you mean hand texturing or....? Thanks for this video
Hi! Yes, not sure what it’s officially called but it the texturing around the stone.
@@thehautebohemian5753 In that case, it's officially called texturing 😅😍
