Security wasn’t about to risk getting hurt chasing the idiot. Once he landed they probably could have easily cornered him. It’s fools like this that often end up in the emergency department that I work at.
They don't have to "chase" after the guy. There are a million cameras on the property. If he has a card to use for gambling, they got all the information they need. If he was staying at the hotel, they know who he is. If he has provided any kind of ID or if they can identify his car in the parking garage, they got him. Security doesn't have to chase after these people. They have tribal police who will follow up on this guy if he's in any kind of legal trouble. And if the casino has his name, they can just ban him from the property afterwards. He can run, but he can't hide.
