saw priest on the defenders of the faith tour. amazing show, like 8 encores, harley on stage, a whole spectacle. yngwie opened for them. incredible show
I saw that tour at Madison Square Garden. It was the show that caused Priest to be banned from MSG for a loooong time because some bone heads in the nosebleed seats set the seats on fire and blew off M80s during the song Jawbreaker("ready to EXPLODE")
Good heavens! 5/6 nights per week is absolutely unimaginable. One could see 3/4 at most. Extraordinary stuff! Even an extra couple of night’s rest makes a world of difference and might induce longevity
KK should never have left JP the way he did. Him and Richie should be onstage. Rob and Glen will not let him back in the band. And lets face it, JP days are numbered. They are all getting up there in age. Old. KK misses those JP paychecks.
Rob did not look after his voice and we know that, especially in the early/mid 80's . Fortunately enough he's been able to keep it together for the last 30 years or so.
