- In this video I walk through my production sound cart and bag setup for small channel count productions. While this is by no means an exhaustive look at all of the equipment I use, this is usually the minimum I'll bring to a production. Please LIKE and SUBSCRIBE to support my channel!

Impressive to say the least. Real Location Sound Guy! Hope u gets lots of work, you deserve such, can tell u are serious. Years ago, had a fellowship in Electronic Film Media at the Banff Centre, Banff, Alberta, Canada. 😎😎
Thanks so much! I grew up near Banff, such a beautiful part of the world. Appreciate the support and kind words. Cheers!
Love the lav in the glasses!
Love this set up! Im starting off but one day would love to have something as sweet as this kit. Nice work
Thanks so much! You can do it!
Wow completely amazed by your setup man. I am wondering how the mcr54 quad is connected to the 633. Am trying to find more about the connectivity options online but not much info is available. Love your calm btw. Greetings from Brussels!
Hey! Thanks for the positive feedback. The MCR54 can be set up with different bottom plates -one of them is a superslot output and the other has two TA5 outputs. I have the latter. Each TA5 outputs two channels. I have one set up to split the first two channels to 2 XLR. The second is split to 2 TA3 (AKA mini xlr).
Additionally, the MCR54 features a top feed that is digitally routable, meaning you can send any 1 or 2 outputs through that. So when I want to use two cabled booms on 633 I attach a custom made TA5 to TA3 mono cable to the 6th input on the mixer and route the first wireless channel through the top feed. This feature makes it easier to juggle the awkwardness of the 633s different inputs IMO.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers from Canada!
Man I just want to thank you for this answer. Online it's so hard to find clear information about these details, but they are pretty important to know more about before a possible buy...Greetings from a fellow loyal 633 user here!@@nicolasfieldsoundservices
Hi can you tell me how you hiding mics lavalier under clothes without hearing a russels .thanks a lot
I’ll cover this in a future video! Thanks!
What is a Hops kit? What is in it?
Hey! By hops I mean “wireless hops”. This is a tool used to send the mix from my sound bag/cart to the camera to record a redundancy (scratch track). I use Sennheiser G4s for this.
