@@Stixxy as someone who got to lv80 on one character and was top 100 in the server rankings, there's way too many issues and a lot of people were hoping and waiting for NM to do something to show any kind of good will but it never came, aside from the NFT shitshow, the second worst thing ever was when they stealth nerfed the rates on eggs, the main source of familiars for everyone and basically the only one for f2p players, without saying anything about it they cut the rates by over 50%, absolute garbage company.

this was actually an amazing game..I was truly invested with the people in the guild I was in..to see it visibly grow over time and just...it honestly felt more like an actual mmorpg. Then all the shit hit it at once

There's like around 10k left now lol. The reason why we know this is because of the Asterite payout reveals the numbers. There's literally no other reason for the game dying than Netmarble's greed that killed it. The game is good. The initial community around it was non-toxic and super friendly. Mostly people who just wanted a casual/cute gameplay experience with other people like themselves.
Then the money making scams hit and they hit the game HARD. Like I've never seen anything like this before. I got to 1mil CP and then quit about 3 weeks ago when I finally realized that the game is actually meant to be a job for play to earn bots/players and the most dedicated addicts. I'm not afraid to call NNK players addicts at this point because most people I talk to who are still playing are not actually enjoying the game, but keep playing and refuse to stop and keep "hoping" that "it might get better".
We've all seen this before. Avid addicts stick to a game much longer than they should. They keep demanding/hoping that the game will get better and then the game just unceremoniously devolves into 1-4 whale guilds playing till the game is shut down.

ive played the game since june, had a break for 3 weeks and now im back. im still enjoying it tho, as a F2P player, the Kingdom system is one of the best things that keeps it alive.

Whatever is happening with the social media I don't know but as for the game in the Asia servers it's infested with players wherever I'm grinding or wherever events are happening it's no where near a game that's doing very bad. The population is still massive in the game I'm very impressed with there design with play to earn as well.
Cant believe companies still dont realise that putting any form of Play 2 Earn in to their game.

I still play the game as f2p and it sucks that the game became so small so quick. Bots are still taking over but thankfully not locking my server out. Legit one of my favorite games this year but I'm afraid it'll not be around for more than a year.
It really is a weird case because netmarble also makes Seven deadly sins Grand Cross which I think does pretty well with. New events trying out new game types for mini games. Plenty of premium currency earning potential. So it's rather odd that it's so bad on this one.
I wonder if there are different subsections to the company that makes these games and that's why the disparity is so big?

honestly very disappointed learning what's happened with this game, because i loved the ni no kuni games, and this one looks really so damn good, with its signature artstyle and interesting characters, but the game itself is a major red flag due to its gameplay

Let's get it straight... I see a lot of comments about NFT'S... There are none "YET". Its linked to the marblex blockchain... even then they updated the game to make the territe easier to obtain in a way of it being locked territe or unlocked... the only difference being is you can actually sell the unlocked territe. Going back into the blockchain... that unlocked territe can be transferred into the marblex wallet to then buy the asterite tokens with.... the asterite you can only get by being a whale apparently to buy the best gear? I think not.. its so much more f2p friendly than so many people think because of awful videos like these spreading misinformation and just not understanding how the game should be played... for me the community in this game already is one of the best I've seen, now that can definitely be server specific but even the top 10-15 guilds in my server all speak to each through game chat and discord and it honestly just makes the game so much fun... my biggest suggestion to people trying the game out would be to maybe a try a few servers out before committing and see which one has the preferred atmosphere to you... and all in all just be patient with your daily grind... any mmo is a major grind so unless you are used to this type of game don't get angry with it, it's they way the majority of mmo's are now.
you know that we have been barred from DQ 10 for over a decade. We could have gotten that instead, but no we get this "game" if you can even call it one.

This is what we need to happen though. We need good, quality, money-making games to fail BECAUSE of NFT and P2E BS. Only then will the message get across.

I already finished the main story quests last August and the only thing that makes this game still enjoyable are the weekly relic/capital wars, monthly events, and the occasional trashtalking between high ranking kingdoms in the world chat. But other than that, the game is pretty much dead right now.
Since good old Lineage 2 Revolution i knew that Netmarble is a thing to avoid.

a few things to point out.... locking the best gear behind crypto made it very hard for whales to even get it, making it a more even playing field in pvp, i only knew 2 people who actually bought peices of gear... the weapon alone was going for several thousand dollars in crypto the first few weeks of the games release...
2. the game itself was fantastic... the story was fantastic as well... but late game into the story you would be locked behind rep grinds if u wanted to continue... these rep grinds also required pretty high gear which encouraged spending to even grind the rep... the point i was at when i quit in july at was at a area where i had to grind rep for over 14 days of quests to continue the story... mind you several quests each day had much higher ilv requirements, which forced f2p players to skip those making the grind to the next bit of story and rewards take even longer
after around the 15 day point of logging in and doing dailys and still not progressing so i could continue the story... i stopped playing
You're not efficient enough. Resources management and yeah basically daily grind and chores. The quests are more like time gated because you'll get stronger overtime and you can clear main story quests as easy asf and left is back to grind for rankings.
It has a lot of RNG/Gambling for almost EVERYTHING and not suitable for many. But that's also a challenge that players need to overcome.
NFT/Crypto is just for P2E and Rankings if you're not bother to these you can enjoy the game.
The game is still active and players having fun.

Few old server like aqua aquarius, sand virgo, cancer still quite alive, im sure this nnk lots of player quit, but im talking for Indonesian player its basically lots and lots hauling a lot of account just to farm territe and yes they still do it till now, and becoming p2e. Well to be honest most indo player get attracted cause the money to earn, just do your daily real life and left the pc with 10 tabs open....

after the ''pets'' update i pretty much quit the game , only way to acces to them was the asterite whcih its crypto that isnt possible to get unless you put money in because a f2p you will never be in the % that requires to get them(they add a weekly ticked after the huge backlash)
theyre doing now a 100 days event with a lot rewards but damage already done, if this last more than 1 year in global id be surprised

ML have a few more players, but loses hard in revenue.

I'm playing this game since the release and still playing it as F2P player and progressing smoothly. The Devs also generously giving free items that give boost to CP through in game events. I think you should encourage people to play not discouraging them. games like this have Pros and Cons. THEY DEVELOP A GAME NOT FOR CHARITY. it's up to the player if they pay or not.
