I'm more impresssed that someone actually summoned the 5-head dragon, I've never ever seen that in an actual game.
They got to get into their next match to do it again lmao. It's always funny watching their board get broken then they instant scoop.
Modern Yu-Gi-Oh in a nutshell. The problem is that a lot of combo decks aren't built for the grind game. They have no real way to get back in the game when their board gets broken, so the game regresses to a simple luck game of: "If you don't have the out, you lose. If you have the out, you win."

I love Yusei and his different archetypes. Hell, part of me really wanted to build these particular 5 minute decks mainly because of the meta (I also love synchro Summoning). However, after skipping that entire segment to the Branded player, I'm glad I didn't build that deck. Huge respect for the Branded Player, that's actually a good idea to have 5HD on deck just in case.
The 2nd player is using a Buster Dragon Branded Deck, which can specifically change his opponent's critters to Dragons. If he combos right, he can fuse his opponent's field regardless of creature type.

There was a time where I jokingly added it and immediately match up against Dragonmaid that probably have the strongest Dragonmaid board, but that's the problem, they are Dragon.

do you know the hilarious thing about this?its that even if the synchro player somehow put up a floodgate preventing fusion player from activating super poly:just setting that albaz would have done the same,coz it would probably bring that albaz fusion that absorbs dragons from both fields.synchron players really need more good none dragon synchros coz super poly and albaz alone haven been screwing them BIG TIME lol
There's a chance they might not have Alba Lenatus so setting Albaz won't do any good there.
However, it could be that they do have Alba Lenatus but opted for Five-headed Dragon to bm, flex and/or five head play.

And that's why I try to play Halberd Cannon (Limit Overdrive), Satellite Warrior and Stardust Warrior in my synchron deck.
Mud dragon of the swamp will always be a great staple card because of super poly
Now you can add a friend to that called Garura wings of resident life which is also a very generic super polymerization target too.
Funny how they used all their extra deck, so even if they didn't lose this turn not a single card in their deck would help them out

Average yugioh players flex all their card summons in one go because it looks cool and intimidating, but the passionate yugioh players knows how to deal with any players like a child's play.
To be fair there's like two cards in the game that can stop Super Poly haha.

The synchron player didn't do anything wrong by going all in. They just got hit by a sacky blow out. It happens sometimes. There's no real reason to play conservatively. Even under Maxx C the best bet is to try to deck them out.
But no. According to smart assess in the comment section with hindsight you're better off playing around the all too common FGD tech.
You know Despia is meta, so yeah, you don't get 5 dragons in play. I even done this twice (once vs Dragon Link and the second vs Syncron). Had it been something more niche like triple Lava Golem, you might have a point. But the Syncron player is an idiot for knowingly playing 5 dragons (i.e. dummy could've played Barronne)
So you are just saying that Sycron has weaknesses.
And you get upset when the opponent plays those weaknesses.

@@manporo5865 Alba Lenatus isn't even that common in Branded. I was on Dragon Link through the thick of the branded meta and while i've eaten my share of super polys, I've never seen anyone board wipe with Fallen of Albaz. It's even less common now that branded tearlaments is the most dominant version of the deck

10 min combo lose against 1 sec SuperPolly. Though I have a Sychron deck bit I don't play them that much because I sometimes got brick or the opponent throw a rock at my board or just summon a chicken to my field.

Most people seem to have a terrible habit of just playing absolutely all their plays as soon as they can play them, which is beyond me. Not only did you set yourself up for that FGD from the Super Poly, but now you have zero counter for it even if you survived the turn.
Synchron hasn’t the option to pause their combo. Its just the risk they have to take

Nowadays everyone has to go all out on their first turn because if you hold back even just a bit then it can cost you the game. Players often lose because they could have made a play, but decided not to and then after they lose they say "I could have won if I blah blah blah"
this is a combo deck, they don't have the option to not go all out

Buster blader deck sometimes run it just for fun. Since it's easy to get the materials out of your opponent
It is also good to have one in a Blue-Eyes deck if you use Super Poly, or really any dragon deck that is running Super Poly
