After hearing the news of Akira-san’s passing, I was in shock but doing fine. Went about my day at work. Decided to play this song on my drive home in his honour and immediately burst into tears. All the memories of watching dragon ball since the age of six years old up until now at almost age thirty…..it can’t be explained in words. Rest in peace, sir. May we meet in other world.
From Taiwan. When I was 10, Goku taught me to believe in myself no matter what. I was never an impressive student, but I always keep studying beyond my limits. Today, at the age of 35, I am a professor at a top UK University. I am finally living a meaningful and happy life now. Thank you, Goku! I can never achieve this without your inspiration!

The year is 2012 and sitting on my dinky laptop watch the likes of Homestar runner and Normalboots. I suddenly come across this video. I always *liked* Dragon Ball but never got seriously into it. Like I had a quarter of the Z manga and some of the original Z movies but nothing to out of the ordinary. But this song,this song made something in my head click. Dragon Ball wasn’t all about big men kicking each other’s ass’s.It was about human endurance and the will to fight for what you believe in. The song never clearly stated any of these points out but I just felt something when I listen to it. It’s almost magical. This song got me seriously into Dragon Ball. Thank you for uploading this. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
GT was an interesting take on being a sequel to Z. It felt a lot like the original Dragonball mixed with Z. Campy yet could get dark real fast. Depending on the type of person you are, you either rolled your eyes at certain parts, or you were just having a blast with the goofiness. Either way, the tone would switch up when a dark moment or gore would be shown. Like Baby killing his "father", or Goku punching a hole through Android 17 or Ice Shenron, or Omega killing no a Shenron.

The final episode was heartbreaking when I was little because it gave goku flashbacks of his past. Also it its freaking amazing how he just wave goodbye and it ended there. That was the ending of the Japanese ending. Damn I love it so much

Speechless in how time can go fast quickly. All things we've done in the past that were done in a daily basis has turned "underrated" and forgotten by some. Like some people in the comment section, hearing this song in 2021 November, you realised...how time has passed itself without us knowing we're getting old. Although GT isn't the GREATEST Dragonball anime according to the fanbase, I still admire it's efforts to be a sequel for DBZ and it still holds a place in my heart with the rest of the Dragonball series
I have a fren who are dragon ball fans as myself. We watched all DB series anime together during our school time.. Pass few years we still discussed about DB super while me met. Unfortunately he passed away last year. Due to pandemic and the restriction of cross border traveling in my country i still not manage to pay a visit to his burial. The final episode was heartbreaking when I was little because it gave goku flashbacks of his past. Also it its freaking amazing how he just wave goodbye and it ended there. That was the ending of the Japanese ending. Damn I love it so much

Speechless in how time can go fast quickly. All things we've done in the past that were done in a daily basis has turned "underrated" and forgotten by some. Like some people in the comment section, hearing this song in 2021 November, you realised...how time has passed itself without us knowing we're getting old. Just some reason, GT may be underrated but guess what? Don't you feel like this song gives you childhood vibes when reading the lyrics to the song? That's what made it...nostalgic.

@@LinoOliveira92 As much as it comes to be canon no it isn't the Akira Toriyama himself said that GT is non canon and if it comes to being better it would have been better than super if the ideas used in it were used more efficiently it was all so rushed and messed up the entire time.

Although GT isn't the GREATEST Dragonball anime according to the fanbase, I still admire it's efforts to be a sequel for DBZ and it still holds a place in my heart with the rest of the Dragonball series

I have a fren who are dragon ball fans as myself. We watched all DB series anime together during our school time.. Pass few years we still discussed about DB super while me met. Unfortunately he passed away last year. Due to pandemic and the restriction of cross border traveling in my country i still not manage to pay a visit to his burial. This song brought me many wonderful memories.. I missed him so much.
