@@alceusrydan6237 That's what Pan is preying on. But he doesn't seem to realize that Henry is able to move on from that and still loves his mother (in fact I don't think he really noticeably blames her for it.)
After seeing all of Pan’s nastiness play out throughout his character’s stint on the show it’s truly heartening to watch Henry’s completely oblivious rebuff of this aspect of Pan’s power/manipulation. Henry was blessed to always been loved and and wanted (even counting when he was given up for adoption became that was still partially done in baby Henry’s own interest).
Nahh he originally is a villian he would kill lost boys to keep him young but yeah Disney made a film about him making him the child hood hero is not true the actually story about him is the novels that J.M Barrie wrote the little white bird and Wendy and pan
I've never watched OUAT. That being said, since reading about Peter being the Pied Piper, I've started to wonder. Did the children in "The Pied Piper Of Hamelin" feel unloved by their families and was that why they heard the pied piper's music and followed him? I don't think that's part of the story, but considering the fact that the reason the piper kidnapped the children in the first place was that he was angry about not getting the payment he was promised, I think it's a possibility. Meaning, if the townspeople cheated the piper out of his money, maybe they were also cheating their own children out of love and affection.
Peter Pan never fails!!! Also, my fav bad guy of the whole 7 seasons..... I can hear people say its Rumple, but he's a morally grey character rather than full blown bad guy.
I love how Pan says, "so father and son have been reunited." Because when you first watch it, we assume that he is talking about Bae and Rumple but after the plot twist that happened, he could've been talking about him and Rumple. This is just an unpopular opinion of mine
I love peter pan a lot of people say he’s evil but i think he’s redeemable in the way like he just needs a person who genuinely comes to him not because he made them come but because they want to be with him and give him a chance he’s the only true lost boy he hears the music his parents sold him and he searches for others to be on his side and hes even surprised when henry has parents who love him well that’s my interpretation of it
In the second half of the third season, OUAT lost its charm. I think that the Neverland arc could have been great for the entire season, instead of writing in the Wicked Witch as Regina's older half sister at the last possible minute.
Henry, maybe a few weeks before this scene: Magic is destroying everything I love and tearing my family apart, so I'm gonna take some dynamite and blow up a well in the woods to destroy magic
The line about pan's enchanted silent pipe is hilarious to me, a bisexual. I just watched Peter Pan, and the Sleeping beauty, and the way those movies scream multisexuality to me, a modern day viewer... Especially considering queer history. There has been plenty of infighting among us fairies indeed. Read up on the way bisexuals were attempted to be pushed out of pride, because who wants to include confusing multisexuality into the message. Not the lesbians, not the gays! So when I watch those movies... The way Maleficent gets revenge because she wasn't invited? Her coloring. Very bisexual. And the way the other fairies argue about the colors that Aurora's party should be. Pink or blue... While the third fairy who was alright with inviting Maleficent makes a cake with pink, blue... And adds yellow candles. Pansexual colors. And Peter PAN... In which Tinkerbelle, a fairy, stops him from kissing Wendy... Won't help him find his shadow. Also when Pan takes Wendy to meet the mermaids they go "You brought a A GIRL?" And try to drown her... Even though the entire movie Wendy tries to help Pan, sews on his shadow that keeps escaping. While Tinkerbelle really just keeps betraying Pan. She doesn't want to share her fairydust and have others fly too, and later she rallies the lost boys against Wendy, gets them to attack her. Indeed, "the pan flute" isn't audible to all children. x)
Likely used her for leverage when he needed it. Or to come up with a trick as he used Wendy to be the vulnerable girl held there by ‘Peter Pan’, but reality he’s having her do his hidden work
“Sorry I don’t hear anything”
Pan: 😦 you’re a boy that’s actually loved!?!??

Henry has 2 moms, a dad, and grandparents that loves him. He comes from royalty. Why the heck would the pipe work on him?
Because Emma gave him up remember?

The posture of his mouth is amazing. It works well with his accent and amplifies his crooked smiles

that's a really good theory
I think this story is different from original. I mean, here everything is interrelated. You can't apply the same logic.
