  • Found this replacement faucet upgrade through a follower, who was good enough to share it with me on Facebook. Looks good and works well.
    If you are interested in getting one of these yourself, check out my Amazon Link. Note that this is a COLD WATER only faucet, perfect for this application. This link takes you to a BLACK faucet (exact same as depicted in this video, but with a black finish). After selling the bot in this video, we upgraded to a 370 Sundancer and replaced the faucet on that boat using the same style uni (only in black to match the canvas colour), as we were very happy with it!!

    This item MAY NOT BE LISTED when you look, as the inventory was low when we purchased ours. Good luck!

    Great cheap upgrade. Purchased on Amazon US for $14. Looks and function so much better than the original. Thanks for making this video. I have learned a lot about repairing my Sea Ray by watching your videos.

      It should fit just fine. We put the exact same faucet in on our current 370, but this time in black. Looks classy and not so much mid 2000's kitchen fridge 😉

    Hi my name Janos im about to turn 50 this year. I have 3 daughters and the wife. I lost my pat Brutus this year in April. I did never planed to get in Boating in my life. I also live in Canada by the way. Last year i got diagnosed with cancer . After 3 months testing finally they find it as a bladder cancer. Which was a good news after there suspicion of Leukaemia. Any way in March 15 they told me the good news that is bladder cancer at very early stage so on May they removed it and that was it. But this experience triggered me to enjoy life even more as much as i can. In past id did fly planes i did scuba dive ride horses and became a competition shooter but all this i did it on my own with out my family. Non of my family members came along along on that journey or envied what i did.
    So in Jun last year one of my clients also a old lost friend passed on me a boat project which i never planed for . But i gave a shot to it as i never tried that and it could be a hobby which all would enjoy. It turned exactly like that. But the boat i purchased from my fried it was disaster . Never saw the boat before i paid for, and nothing was working on .After 1.5 hour driving last year i had a broke down with 9 people on the board with a 9 month s old baby on board. NO anchor also. We got towed out fairly fast by calling the marina with my cell phone as my VHF radio was not working also,
    So fixing the boat cost $3200 . After that i took the boat in a shop to find all problems. The cost me $9900 . At this point im at $ 17,000 just to fix the boat. I started to do most of the work on my own now.
    I have been watching your videos since i purchased my own boat.Which are helping and motivate me to fix it on my own,
    Any way i never regret buying the boat because it turned out a to be the most fun with all my family together. Now it became the most important hobby for all of us.
    Last 30 days i did lot on the bat getting to be better and better . The reason i write to you is as i have some question as you are a experienced boater. My boat is 1995 Rinker Fiesta Fee 265 single engine. Driving the single engine boat was nerve racking on the beginning. But im getting better and better at it.I wrote you because most hardest thing i find is pulling the cables behind.On every project i had i did tackle it but always was harder then i taught so. With some challenge , I can't find a video how to deal with cables which is hard to access , On every project i find my self in situation that i have to open the boat up to gain access which leads me to anew project.Is there any advice you can give me on that. Today i had to install new port and stern lights then change the horn, and changing the horn i had to open the bowline to access the cables. Now new project is changing the bowline. Last week i completely changed the dashboard as some of the gages weren't working.

    • @BoatingWithBoogaboo
      @BoatingWithBoogaboo  Před 3 lety +1

      Talked about replacing the sink as well, but it's far from priority given that we'll probably move up in a couple of years.

  • @IsagenixCassiSacramento

    Any advice on the fridge that goes under that sink in the cabinet? We purchased a Norcold 3 way but it will not get cold in the cabinet.

    • @BoatingWithBoogaboo
      @BoatingWithBoogaboo  Před 3 lety

      The only things that come to mind is that you might be suffering from the same issue we sometimes have on the hottest days, as the cabinet around it isn't insulated, so the fridge works doubly hard, but can't overcome the heat. Try parking the boat with the sun on the opposite side, that might help. Another thing might be weak batteries, when running it off that power source.

    How about that one in the back for the transom shower. Always thought that would be a must if i buy a 330.

  • @GearheadENG
    @GearheadENG Před 10 měsíci

    Do you know if the sink basin is just siliconed in or are there clips? I have a 2000 Sundancer 310 and there is no way to get to the faucet without taking off the entire side panel in the cockpit. I was thinking I could pry up the sink and change the faucet them reseal.

      I'm gonna guess that it would, as most plumbing fittings are standard sizes. You could always order one a,d if it doesn't fit, send it back. Anchor Girl has the most reward miles for Amazon returns in our area ;-)

    We replaced ours as well with this one from Amazon, about $18.00 US. It is taller, about 6.5 inches of clearance to the top of the sink but not as sturdy as the one you have. (www.amazon.com/dp/B07RYSVH86/ref=dp_prsubs_3). I don't think I can add a picture of it installed so I'll see if I can email it to you.

    Have you called the authorities and arranged for the proper inspections? Are you qualified to perform such a detailed and complex plumbing procedure? Are those faucets CSA approved? Think of all the starving plumbers.
