My father ( 74 ) likes revolvers and nothing else. He carries the Taurus 38 special on him at all times. He sold both of his shotguns for the Huben GK1 .25 Air gun and umarex hdx .68 40J for home defense. He told me the same as what you said about the recoil and upper body strength issues. He's much more comfortable with the options he chose. Great video💯

Well said. The inevitabilities of life are real. No matter how much we work out to maintain strength and conditioning. I am focused on 9mm now in my mid-50s but at some point I'm going to migrate toward lower calibers.

All seem to be great guns, but (as of now) leaning more towards the Ruger. Low recoil, high mag capacity, good reviews and reasonablely priced. Thanks for the endorsement. 🤔 Smith and Wesson make a M&P 9 mm EZ, 380 Shield EZ and 9mm Equalizer that where designed specifically for people with lower upper body strength. S&W also make a M&P 22WMR that’s low recoil. They are more effective than a 22LR in stopping a threat. For revolvers Charter arms and Taurus both make a 380 ACP revolver and a 9 mm revolver .
