Hello mate, what can you tell about power? Compared to a MT/FZ-07 for exemple?
My dream bike is the Nuda 900 but I always like the DD 750 and it's cheaper than the Nuda, but I've never seen a fair comparison vs other similar bikes in terms of power... Nice Review by the way!

Don't know if you still need this comment but as some one who has a dorsoduro 750 and a friend of mine has a myt07 which i rode allot as well. I can say the DD feels more powerful and handles better. The torque on the DD feels much better and higher then the 07. I would personally not pick the 07 over the DD apart from the fact that you are buying a reliable Japanese bike.

@@PedoBear1811 thanks for your feedback mate, yes I'll go always to the DD, it's a beautiful bike, I've never like the 07, only think I like in the 07 is the engine, the comparison I'm talking above (DD 750 and MT 07) it was just to know how powerful is the DD because I've never ride one, and I'm already ride a 07, so is just to know that..
What about weight? I know the 07 is lighter, but what about the feeling, corner after corner in a montain road for exemple?

@@silvaridebikes While the DD is heavier which you do feel at very slow speeds the taller riding position and it's wider handle bars makes the DD feel much better in corners when at normal or high speed. The DD is made to be ridden on the mountains.

Why didn't you get a newer one? I had a 2014 Dorsoduro 750 that was totaled in 2016 when I was cut off. After recovering from fractured femur I started saving to get a new one. Finally found a new Dorsoduro 900 during my local dealer's end of season sale for $6500 out the door which included taxes and everything. Also, you should check out the gel seat Aprilia offers which is 10X more comfortable than the stock seat.

Jon R when I got this one it was a killer deal I picked it up for 3800 with 6200 miles and I didn’t know much about it other than I wanted a sumo that was more street oriented . I like to learn about different bikes. I have been talking to different people about getting a gel seat custom that would offer more support but most are afraid to take on the job. I’ll probably end up getting one of the manufactured gel seats if I ever find one.

Delone Knives Theres some people on eBay who modify the original seat but I just went with the Aprilia gel seat on both my 2014 before it was totaled and just got one for my 2018. I found that oem parts are cheaper if you buy them from Italy. I got the Arrow exhaust and the gel seat for $1200 shipped. If I bought in the US it would've been around $1800. I got mine from Pogliani but got the last one and who knows when they'll get another with everything that's going on. There's also the Airhawk Dual Sport which would fit the Dorsoduro seat perfectly

Original gel seat isn't worth the price, I have it but I prefered the original modified with gel and memory foam. Original gel seat is good for short people because is thin.

Hey nice review! Thanks! Do you still have this bike ?
How many kms or miles, have you done with her? I am looking for a funny bike to for small and medium rides (up to one hour straight), I'm 180 cm with 70 kg; would you recommend it ? I am going to check a used one but the factory 2011 version. Thanks best regards

Yeah I still have the bike I have done 2000 miles now and it’s awesome for hour and a half or so with no padding but you can definitely do longer with a small pad. I love it. It pretty powerful compared to other bikes I referred to. You should fit fine on it.

Awesome video, I’d love to get one, would you have any advice on the height of the seat, I’m 176cm tall would it be uncomfortable to stand comfortably

You might not be able to flat foot both sides but it really depends on the inseam. I’m 5’11 and it’s a bit tall but I like it that way.
