  • Onna' is a town believed by many that married woman cannot cheat. I traveled to the town to find out why women can't cheat and after speaking with some people from the town I came to find out they have a deity that forbids married women from cheating ironically married men are exempted.

He said sometimes it happens during child birth and yes if she cheats and buys stuff with the money gotten from that act, it will affect you as well, if you as the husband is told and restitution is done but you ‘eat it alone’ Ancestors straight 😂

If all Africans could learn their history before Christianity & Islam, what these 2 religions did to the Africans & Africa centuries ago, then no African would dare to open their mouth that they're Christians or Moslems. No Africans will be Christians or Moslems. They will be practicing only their African religions. Also, no Africans will be answering the names & surnames of the same people who dehumanized & colonized their ancestors. The same people who looted their continent to build theirs & of course they're still looting the continent.

Create rules that protect all citizens in your country, and do not allow strangers to take advantage of or disrespect your people when they arrive on your land! Stop continuing stupid old traditions that serve no purpose! Stop child marriages, and let young girls become fully able and educated women! Stop polygamy, where one man would have more than one wife, which creates Poverty. Stop oppressing women in general that will help balance your continent! Finally, stop being corrupt, and realize this is your country you are taking down the drain, try your best to do everything right, and not only will you succeed, but the whole continent shall succeed! Stop being money hungry by taking any bribe from a foreigner who doesn't care about you or your people!

J Gold actually said I was gonna die like her own father who probably died because D Gold was sleeping with several other men. At a point, I was spitting blood and no clinic could diagnose what was wrong with me. Plus their bullies, abuses, and diabolical use of charms and witchcraft. It is only God that saved my life as J Gold left to continue sleeping with all kinds of men... You know that there is a tendency for law or rule to stir more sin, maybe that's why they cheat more...

That’s what I was going to ask, was this a culture or belief?
I’m finding in a lot of religion many things are not of The Creator, it’s “culture,” made up by men. When it comes to topics like this the culture is always in the favor of mans pleasures and dismay towards the woman. This isn’t right on any level. I agree with the young man saying, they both should be faithful.

And what makes you think Christianity and Islam is of the Creator? they were created by men, this you should know first. Look, when something is not good we should address it as it is. Every body is waiting for the slightest thing to insult African Culture. Trying to dirty our culture amidst solving a problem is a not the best.
This is how it is supposed to go. It is human who sermoned the deity/spirit to work in that fashion I strongly believe. You just have a meeting and talk to the head priest and tell him you don't like the idea of how females should die when they cheat, but men should live regardless. Please, we want you to talk to the deity that we want to make amends and that a man is allowed to marry as many wifes as he wants. Besides his wifes, he can't have an affair with no other woman otherwise he dies

@@kstvchannel2503,if you read my comment properly, I commented behind what was said in the video. I do know about Christianity and Islam. Why do you think it was an insult on Africa? You do know this happens elsewhere?
Can you answer why is it that way? Man marries many, can cheat, nothing happens; woman marries a man can’t cheat, dies when she does? Where did that culture come from? When did it start? It’s not just in Africa.

I think its unfair this only affects woman even tho i won't blame the female elder for her opinion cuz she speaks from decades of indoctrination i wish they had something for the man too💙

I’m from Edo state. Naturally women are forbidden to cheat or collect money from another man when she’s married. Their is a repercussions for it if you do and think no one see you. Before its the husband or kids that will get seriously sick and die if not noticed early. But now they have returned it that the woman that cheated should bear the consequences. I edited this comment because of those people asking

Am from Benin and this is our Tradition if you cheat get ready for the consequences except you speak out that you have committed adutry so some things can be done before its too late. And if the wife is cheating and the husband is aware of it but keep a deft ear and didn't tell anyone then he continue drinking and eating the woman food then the man will die.
