All alex has is sneaky leg kicks that he heavily relies on and his ko power.
It was just a bad matchup; Sean fought like he had nothing to lose; and he was not intimidated at all by Adessanya. But I was very disappointed as it seems like Izzy had an awful approach to Strickland’s style and didn’t take him seriously enough; and that resulted in his most humiliated defeat.

Imo the biggest takeaway from Izzy's last fight is that as good as he is, his FIQ and adaptability are low. He relies on his camps to make adjustments he seemingly can't do them on the fly. Remember how good that Stipe vs DC 2 was cause of how Stipe adapted to DC and got the finish, Izzy has not been able to do that, even the Alex ko was drilled a lot and he threw it a couple of times before he was able to finish him with it.
Win or lose, he really is one of the best champions to have ever held the belt and he's had one of the greatest careers in the game. Truly a great inspiration and great role model.
