I'm from germany and i have'nt watched a full baseball game since 2017.... but what the phillies done the last 2 years have me fully hooked up again. I enjoy the game and the Storys have even floated to over here. Sry for my poor language 😅. I'm so hyped for every game thx to the phillies, there amazing Fans, the unbelievable Atmosphere, the Team and the howl vibe of the city. I will never be able to affort the trip and the tickets to watch a live game at CBP... but man would i give away my last shirt for that. Thx Philadelphia from germany for the amazing experience and for bringing me back to the game fulltime 🙏🏻 i really appreciate that. GO PHILLIES

I think Klemmer is spot on with the ratings and LA. MLB and the media love four teams: Dodgers, Yanks, Red Sox and Cubs. They long for a Yanks/Dodgers series. They salivate over a R Sox/Yanks regular season or playoff series. I dont particularly care for any of those teams but they generate the interest for said series. Thats all he was saying

How have the playoffs been bad? You have the battle of texas set up, the young exciting team in Arizona making a surreal run and the Phillies on a revenge tour!! There are some sweet stories going on. Who gives a shit if these "big market" teams couldnt get the job done. This is good for baseball.
I think we couldn’t have gotten better LCS matchups. ALCS is the battle for Texas and the NLCS is the Phillies vs the team trying to replicate and improve on what they accomplished last year. I think both series go at least 6 games with huge moments from all sides can’t wait. Go Phils

Same thing happened in ‘93, the whole country got behind the Phils during those playoffs which included us eliminating the Braves btw. The national media and people all over the country have bought into the Phillies this year. They’re a fun, lovable team that you can’t help but connect with.
This is hard to watch. Both bullpens are great. You trashed Hoffman on the Phillies who has been their most trusted reliever after Alvarado. He’s literally 99 percentile in XERA and above 95 percentile in nearly every pitching metric. Stopped watching after I heard that

Phillies are 3rd(+2.6) in Bullpen War while Arizona finished 20th(-2.4).
They just won 2 bullpen games against SPENCER STRIDER.
They’ve allowed 3 runs in 18 2/3 postseason innings, with most of those coming against the most powerful lineup of all time.
Hubbs said he’d prefer Sewald/Ginkel to “any relieve Philly has”. Alvarado has been FAR better than both of them. It is a wild take that you’d rather have 2 pitchers from a bottom 10 bullpen than any pitcher from a Top 3 bullpen.
The Phillies have lineup/rotation advantages but the bullpen advantage is the biggest in the series. I love these guys and they follow me on Twitter and I’ll continue listening but they really dropped the ball in bullpen analysis here.
Look up the Dbacks bullpen since they acquired Sewald and Thompson. Damn near unhitable. They went closer by committee all season before that and blew like 20 saves. Once everyone got rolls they’ve been the best bullpen in baseball.
These guys are out to lunch. Phillies bullpen has been solid outside issuing too many walks this post season. Also, JT has an OPS of .970 this post season. He only looked bad vs Strider.
@@ples7083 Gaby Moreno 1.107 OPS in the playoffs and I believe rated best defensive catcher this season. I’ve always liked Realmuto though so no shade his way.

Phillies pitching has been lights out. We completely shut down an all-time great offense, plus if you look at the Phil’s pitching stats for the second half of the year, you’ll see it was among the tops in the majors.
