For half the price you can get a White River m1 in magnacut with excellent heat treat, great geometry and fit and finish. Also an all purpose design, works for defensive uses, and utility, outdoors, etc. Great family business with a crazy good warranty. Just an idea
I have their Firecraft 3.5 pro and it is an excellent knife. It's about the same overall size as the Wargoat, has a finger ring, comes in s35 or Magnacut, has a 90 degree spine for ferro rod use, and can be had for around 150ish. The overall design is less "tactical" but it makes a fantastic EDC fixed blade

Good look bro! My only gripe about MKC knives is that I wish they had a lil more belly. Blackfoot and others aesthetic is a bit dinner knife like. Other than that well made knives.
That is a nice-looking knife. I've chosen @tkellknives as my EDC fixed blade. Tim, Marine Vet, has purpose designed knives made in the USA with USA materials carefully considering the ergonomics of the hand and EDC. His sheaths provide versatility for carrying options, OWB/IWB, pocket, boot, molle, etc. And, backed with a life of the knife warranty.
I really like the design of this a lot. It’s a tactical paring knife and seems a bit pricey though. I still love my spartan knives phrike for fixed blade carry

Good products from MKC. I think too high priced. Lots of advertising, many free knives saturating CZcams, like you with free products. Things like travel to get his products on Huckabee or with Tulsi Gabberd, Elk hunts, big properties, etc. Consumers pay for that lifestyle. Not saying capitalism is bad, more power to Josh.
Forged blades take longer to manufacturer, require more maintenance from the buyer, aren't as flexible, and generally cost more. they don't claim to be for the blue collar. They claim to be for the hunter who also EDC
The markup is insane for what it is. I guess the whole prepper/edc/ex military community can really push this stuff
