Ottobock Flax Fibres are a sustainable alternative to carbon fibres. They can be used for fabricating TT and TF sockets with lamination disc or 3/4-arm lamination anchor. We provide a tested layout plan (646T786) with step-by-step instructions on how to build a safe socket for users up to 150 kg and up to MOBIS 4.
The Ottobock Flax Fibres are part of our growing GreenLine range. We want to offer more sustainable materials, which partly consist of organic raw materials, but at the same time meet the high professional standards in orthopaedic technology. The aim is to produce materials that, for example produce less waste thanks to its compostability, consist of renewable raw materials or which are less harmful to health during processing. This allows O&P professionals to focus on what is most important - its users.
