    Wow I think you had almost every cervical symptom going on at the same time... and then nonchalantly added Lyme disease! Fixing this issue has been a miracle for me too so glad you are better and sharing your story people really need to know about this. Though I chose a different method NUCCA chiropractic both it and prolotherapy are about moving the neck bones back in proper place. I think prolo is better for ligament damage however....don't quote me on that ask a doctor not a surfer!

    These are my exact symptoms. I hurt my neck while swimming and haven't been the same since. I live in Phoenix and I found Dr. Fred Arnold who does wholistic/naturalistic medicine including prolotherapy and I have a cervical MRI (with flexion and extension) lined up for 2 days from now that should show me if I have cervical instability or not. The suspense is killing me but Megan you probably know exactly what that feels like! Thank you for sharing your story.

      @@Krishanapanchaal1 My headache mildly decreased after the third prolotherapy session but all other symptoms persisted as before. The cervical spine pain, which also radiated to the shoulder, slightly withdrew after the second prolozone session. I had a very brief improvement of my general condition after my second atlas adjustment, which afterwards resumed to default mode. I should have consulted the upper cervical chiropractor, which performs my atlas adjustments, in the first place. Among all the doctors I have seen, this is the one which best understood and explained my situation. The prolotherapy and prolozone procedures I underwent were the only ones accessible to me at the time. I have had 4 prolotherapy sessions, 3 prolozone sessions, 3 atlas adjusments, so far.
      I highly recommend for anyone dealing with chronic fatigue syndrome, or other similar issues, to get in touch with an upper cervical chiropractor. This procedure is non-invasive, cost-effective, and triggers the self-healing functions of the body. Consequent adjustments are required due to the tendency of the vertebrae and muscles to throw the atlas out of alignment. Doc also recommended I use topical magnesium oil which relaxes muscles.
      I was already aware of the role patience plays in this lengthy journey but am confident that it will be worth the pursuit!

      I’m so sorry to hear about your experience, I would highly recommend looking into CCI. A lot of doctors will try and convince you it’s psychosomatic when they genuinely don’t know what’s going on or are incompetent and calloused. Even if something is enhanced by our psyche, that doesn’t explain biologically why you’re predisposed. I would encourage you to keep looking for treatments and relief. Prolotherapy was a significant part of healing for me, it’s worth it at least to look into.

MS was called hysterical paralysis right up to the day they invented a CAT scan. It went from hysterical to real. It’s always tempting to look at the past as something strange and distant, to say ‘Thank God we know better now.’ But what I could never have imagined, had I not gotten this disease, is that we’re still doing this.”

    Hello, hope you're doing amazing and healthy, just wanted to know how did the cervical collar help? as I'm not able to the treatment right now, and I'm only able to buy right now the cervical collar, so just wanted to know how much did the collar relieve your symptoms, from burning sensation, as breathing problems and all the other typical symptoms that we have, thanks a lot

    • @meganklee659
      @meganklee659  Před 2 lety +1

      Prior to Prolotherapy I often felt better in my collar, yet was still quite debilitated. The collar helped, but never consistently or completely resolved symptoms.The cervical collar operated primarily as a supplement to receiving traction (the lifting up of the base of my skull) which was the intervention that most relieved my symptoms. It was important that I wore it after traction to prolong the symptom relief by keeping my neck as stable as possible. It was later important for me to constantly wear during Prolotherapy so that my neck could heal in the right position, and to avoid unnecessary jostling that could further damage my neck.

    • @meganklee659
      @meganklee659  Před 2 lety +1

      I would highly advise you only use a cervical collar under the supervision of a doctor. Improper use can have consequences. I was diligent about only wearing it up to four hours a day prior to Prolotherapy to not further weaken my neck.
