I always preferred more cone area with less x max than more x-max with less cone area. I've always been happier running quad sub setups with low MMS drivers that needed less airspace.
True but if u have a good amp that can push-pull very strongly and control the sub, then the higher weight is OK. Maybe not as tight overall but OK. But a lightweight sub with higher efficiency and lower power won’t hit bass like the heavier sub will, n u can’t fix that. Heavier weight and not working, just get a better more powerful amp. That said, sd does indeed matter
Sup bro long time we don't speak hope all is well.. I just got a 2018 and I'm having a hard time deciding which 10 inch to go with I'm going to raise my rear seat 2 inch a want to put 2 10s was thinking American bass or the sundown u model what's your thought?
JOSE CASTRO both good... both take same volume... but the new sa10v2 will not fit under a seat... he’ll I don’t think either will and have necessary volume

Wow, the Toro? New driver for the win....
I'm having trouble deciding what's the best driver for a Marty box
Some people say psa others say um18 and others say stereo integrity
I miss my Hd 8s , I replaced my sa V2 8s for them
My subwoofer xmax is 20 mm , so is bad or not ?
Got a question what you think about a DC Audio 10” XL 2 ohm
Shy B very efficient 10”...high SENS/SPL 85.9....pair it with correct enclosure and amp and you should be happy
Thanks imma look into that great videos by the way

Not for music it isn't. More excursion is more distortion. The most musical subs in the world you barely see them move.
I now know more and less at the same time
