I've played C&W for decades but just today thought I'd like to try something different. I thought about my favorite Genesis song and bingo, found this. Remarkable that it was only uploaded five days ago. Thankyou.

It’s definitely nice to see a lesson up here for this beautiful song, but you are definitely missing something. It doesn’t just go back-and-forth between G and A in the chorus, it’s either Gmaj7, or Gmaj6, A,Dmaj7. It could even be Emin7, A, Dmaj7. Are you playing a version that Hackett does? Great to see a lesson on this beautiful song. And please correct me if I’m wrong, but my ears just tell me that there is Dmaj7 in the choruses.

Are you sure it goes to a regular A after the main riff before the G7? I hear that it does the riff and the G7. Thanks
