''Boy, am I getting tired of traffic'' you said. I get it! One of the worst things of my bike trips is the noise and dangers presented by vehicles. Crazier is that some motorbikes seem to make more noise than most trucks. One of things I appreciated about my trip to the Yukon this year was the silence on several legs of the trip. Almost no Americans heading through Canada to Alaska. Several highways did not run parallel with train routes. And literally no people and no towns in Northern BC and the Yukon. One particular night, it seemed like the universe stopped. No movement, no wind, no rustling of leaves, no waves lapping on the shore, no bugs hovering above the tent. The treasured moment brought me to tears. Life is great. So are your videos. And then it rains. Keep it up guys.
Wow that sounds like a very different experience to what we had, we could almost constantly hear a highway each night when we wild camped, mosquitos or sandflies around us, cars passing on every street, we definitely have to get ourselves to Canada :) Can't escape the rain though wherever you go, unless you do it in a desert... but then you have other things to worry about 😂 Thanks for the support!
Hi there, I'm glad that you didn't seem to take the cycleway from Fort Augustus to Spean Bridge. It has to be the worst dedicated cycle track on planet Earth. Nothing but ruts and potholes - puncture kingdom! I was lucky. Pity about the rain. Beautiful scenery.
Yes well it is Scotland so we have to expect it a little 😉 Yes apparently we missed that cycleway, sometimes the road was a better choice!
A bungy cord hooked to that strap system is better keeps the bag tight and can flex if needed , also fast and easy to hook

Loving your videos of this trip but I have to say that no part of Scotland is wilderness. It's beautiful, but it is an entirely manmade landscape.
