New mugetsu would be a beast of a character compared to the former one, and klabs tried a lot putting guaranteed at 10 steps that's nice

I'm currently down to 13k orbs, because I went 25 steps on the Masaki and Isshin banner and typically reserve my summons for Thousand-Years Blood War characters, which means I'm going hard on step 1 and 2 of the anniversary - especially for either Äs Nödt or a new Bankai Yamamoto.
I'm also looking at end-of-month, which I was going to originally skip, but now that it's likely to have three of the Bambies, I'll have to get a few steps in at minimum. I'll likely be able to get them during Poll Selection, if they will be counted as seasonal characters, so I'm not too worried if I don't get them this month.
the last character with full immunity is Nnoitora and before that it was droplet momo not the eoy character
My favourite character is dangai ichigo with mugetsu. I don't have the 3rd anni or the dangai so i was planning to get 3rd anni through ticket. But this banner is giving me that so hell yeah. Also i like shunsui and nanao too. Soul reapers are my favourite.
Also I'm one of those who doesn't care about the stern ritters and btw. I had planned to skip swimsuit if it was one of those. So I'll have enough orbs for anni part 1 and 2 with this new format banner if this is constant.

That Shunsui is gonna pair well with Yumichika and Shuhei. They all inflict Drain too.
Ichigo's soul trait doesn't stack with the attribute specific team sad buff that Akon has, but it will stack with Shuhei's affiliation+attribute specific team sad.

New Mugetsu looking like a walking nuke, but in terms of Red Hollow Killer, Yamamoto already has me covered for Guild Quest.
Potion characters a lot lower on the totem pole for me now that the Achievement System hit and it's been drowning me in all the materials that I need
Kyoraku is the primary character that I'm eyeing because of his value in Squad Zero GQ, but I'd need a few dupes to get him hitting hard enough.
I really need to see what the imminent upcoming banners have to offer before I dump orbs on this one. Anniversary might be terrifying in terms of powercreep if they're trying to bait out our pulls this hard already
4:34 mugetsu’s soul trait won’t work with akon. This was written at the notes section(if an Attribute-specific Team/Party bonus and a general Team/Party bonus have the same effect, they will not stack.)

It’s actually 2250 for guaranteed mugetsu. And it’s not step 10 it’s step 11. If you look at how the steps are laid out it’s stupid. Step 5 is actually the 6th step.
The 50 orb discounted step is just an extra step you have to go through before getting to the guaranteed one. Kinda dumb.

I am going to summon because it's Mugetsu but if this is the 9th Anni Ichigo it's kinda underwhelming. It's a little Weird that Isshin, Yachiru, Yuha, Quilge, and Cang Du are all better. Along with him only having 1 killer and 1 Soul trait he is also used in the same Guild quest as Cang Du and Yuha and his increased status being on only hallow mean you won't really use him to carry in IT much.
I want to say it's so powercreep doesn't get too crazy but Isshin exists.

if you're not a fan and have yhwach or cang du, you don't need another hollow melee killer for GQ
True. They should just give him anni treatment with the double killer. Even for Lbq, Yama is still usable especially if you have him 5/5. If he had espada killer I'd probably want him more but I know I had to skip since anni is right around the corner.

I don’t know for sure but it’s possible this Ichigo can solo nightmare GQ at 1/5. That’s not factoring in limit breaker at all.
The gap between Yamamoto and this Ichigo is like heaven and earth.

For me, the banner is good, but Ichigo just isn't needed. Ywach, the best unit in the game, is already a Melee hollow killer so unless this Ichigo is gonna be better than Ywach, which i doubt, the only reason to summon would be for collection purposes. This guy is gonna be on poll selection, along with the part 1 ani units AND Swimsuit characters, so imo its just worth to save, wait for ani part 2 news then decide what banner we goin deep on

You probably don’t need this Ichigo if you have yhwach but this Ichigo will be way better than yhwach in guild quest. I don’t think yhwach can solo nightmare GQ. But this Ichigo might be able to at 1/5. He’s way better in GQ like it’s not even close.
For limit breaker this guy does a lot more damage and he buffs team strong attack damage but he doesn’t have the utility of giving recharge or an extra soul bomb like yhwach so we will have to wait to see who is better there.
So he’s not necessary but he’s absolutely not redundant.

Here's my question - if i already have TYBW Power Yama 3/5, whats the benefit of going for mugetsu ichi? A character thats 5% more powerful? 10? Im just not seeing the benefit of having essentially Yama-lite, outside of the soul trait
most niche scenario would be in senk or limit breaker where they would do a rule of soul reaper only power hollow killer melee. yep they could do that and prevent captains so you will not use yama for subtitute. But again that's niche, and if you don't care outside that, yama is still useable but defo this mugetsu blitz him.
U kidding? This character isn’t 5% more powerful than Yamamoto. He’s 200% more powerful.
If you have a 5/5 Yamamoto you can probably do without him but even 1/5 this Ichigo is stronger than 5/5 Yama. 5/5 Yama isn’t good at clearing nightmare GQ. Even ichibei is a lot better than him. Then there’s limit breaker, arena and every other game mode.
You don’t need to summon but idk what you mean by Yama-lite. This characters is 20 times better than Yama.

Yama 80% SP Boost vs 100%
Both have dmg to weakened, but Yama also has damage to burning. Do those effects stack? If so that makes the power discrepancy less.
Yama also has shared ailment immunity vs mugetsu solo
Based on the numbers it seems Mugetsu is 50-80% better depending on the power of an extra SA hit. He also fulfills relatively the same niche. If my math is off, please tell me though. Not condescendingly as I won't be interacting anymore if that's the attitude you bring to someone asking a genuine question.
If Ichigo wasn't a Hollow killer I would certainly more tempted. I have the privelage of having a 5/5 Yhwach so I feel like his value outside of maybe Limit Breaker.
With only 4K orbs in the bank, the actual anni around the corner and with Ichigo going into the premium pool, I'm deffo skipping.
Personally recommend everyone to consider how Anni Part 2 and Swimsuit Bambies will both be limited time banners while Mugetsu -and most likely anni part 1 too- is premium, instead of rushing into the hype ✌
