P.U.N.K. Engine in Master Duel Explained Easily and Quickly

- The engine starts of with getting Noh-P.U.N.K. Ze Amin on the field. You use its effect to search out Noh-P.U.N.K. Foxy Tune from your deck. Then you use Foxy Tune to SS Noh-P.U.N.K. Deer Note to the field. You use the 2 to go into Chaos Ruler (Chaos Ruler, the Chaotic Magical Dragon) and mill 5. Deer note will activate in the GY to bring back Foxy Tune back to the field. Then you use the 2 monsters to go into The Zombie Vampire. Then you mill 3 more cards.
This engine will mill a total of 8 cards, and a potential 10 more if you hit the 2 ishizu millers (Kelbek the Ancient Vanguard, Agido the Ancient Sentinel). Making it a great engine for mill decks.
The ratios are 3x Noh-P.U.N.K. Ze Amin, 1x Noh-P.U.N.K. Foxy Tune and Noh-P.U.N.K. Deer Note, and 2x Emergency teleport. Additionally you can play up to 3 copies of Noh-P.U.N.K. Ogre Dance to search out Ze Amin.

@@extreme8058 An Additional +1 is hardly a small effect especially as it allows you to apply it before any of your opponents milled cards get a chance to activate their effects. It's an important interaction in matchups like versus Tears for me example. Stopping them from even attempting to activate a Graveyard effect is nice.
This format/visualization is great to understand and follow.
I use this primarily because i love playing a chaos deck and it gets my lights and darks into the grave so i can actually play me hand.
Yeah P.U.N.Ks - I don’t even use them for this, they’re great in all sorts of combos and strategies!
I just don’t like MD lol, I use them with Gold Pride and stuff

3 is also up there due to the popularity of the engine and komoneys failure to give us these cards at obtainable rarities

Also instead of going full mill, you can resurrect the tuner to make the level 11 synchro psychic end punisher
That’s usually what I do I just burn as much Lp as I can then just use it as a beatstick
I swear we're approaching a self-mill singularity where the best deck is just going to be all the best self-mill engines squashed together. Same as how the very first deck in Yugioh was just all the best cards squashed together.
Yeah, old mill used to mean milling your OPPONENT'S cards.
Playing rising carp makes the engine run a lot smoother
Also you mill 9 cards(5 with chaos ruler and 4 with zombie vampire) tho you almost always special summon one of the milled cards with zombie vampire and you almost always add 1 card with chaos ruler to your hand

Also if you play just one Sharakusai in main & one Rising Carp, the engine rarely bricks, because Foxy Tune is no longer a Garnet. If you open Foxy Tune, you just go into Ze Amin, Ze Amin search Shirakusai, normal Shirakusai, Fusion summon Rising Carp, tribute and go into Deer Note and another Ze Amin. This does two things for the engine. You can resurrect Rising Carp instead of Foxy Tune, making sure that a light attribute is already in the GY for the cost of Chaos Ruler and not stuck under Zombie Vampire (It is also cool to make a Xyz using a Fusion and a Synchro Monster). You can also now play multiple Foxy Tune marking the engine more consistent. With e-tele you now have up to 11 openers for the engine and with no Garnets.
Hopefully one day they release Gold Pride into Master Duel and I can finally play my Gold Pride Punk's there

a fellow grass user, i use this as an orcust starter when possible simply because it also makes dingirsu, or excellent link materials
Zombie Vampire mills 8, 4 from each deck... Usually a very bad idea since you are giving stuff to your opponent.
You can steal an opponent's milled monster with Vampire, before it can trigger their GY effect :)
Same with Agido and Kelbek, yet many people use them anyways.

I miss the punk engine man, I played punk VW in paper and it had so many cool little synergies
In addition to the mill 8 (chaos ruler adds 1 to the hand iirc, and zombie vampire mills 4), you also get a light or dark monster in your hand, and if you detach Chaos Ruler for Zombie Vampire’s effect, you get a special summon from the grave off of vampire and Chaos Ruler on top of that.
And that’s not even taking into account hitting any other cards whose effects activate when sent to the graveyard.
This sort of thing is why I love P.U.N.K.s and especially Chaos Ruler. I was sad when the latter got the axe in the TCG but I understand why.

Not to mention, you can play Jet Synchron, and if you mill it, you summon it back, as well as chaos ruler(after detaching it from zombie vampire) and make hot red dragon archfiend

I mean let’s be real, Chaos Ruler and the Ishizu cards was always gonna get banned eventually, as any graveyard deck could abuse the Punk engine to go into it and pop off. Tears is the first case of it really being insane, even though all their cards were hit.

también funciona si con foxy tune invocas a ze amin, ze amin trae a la mano a sharakuzai, lo invocas normal, usas su efecto para invocar por fusion a la carpa, la carpa la sacrificas para invocar a otra ze amin y a deer note y ya tienes a chaos ruler. De esa forma foxy tune se vuelve combo de una sola carta y ya no es necesario ogre dance.

Why no one played tear punk? It's a great mill engine!
Fact: the PUNK engine can also be used to make an anti-Nibiru play right when you hit your 5th summon, by making Number 90 Galaxy Eyes Photon Lord to negate a monster effect, instead of Zombie Vampire for further milling.

I like 2 zeaman and 2-3 foxy and 1 deer note. Only because I don't like using my normal summon on zeaman that much due to hand traps also even if I normal zeaman if I'm playing 3 foxy if they ash zeaman I can use the foxy I already opened.
Indescriminate mill cards hate me with a passion. If I use them, I will always mill multiple cards I really, really don't want in the GY while milling none of the cards I actually want to put there.
PUNK also help you access rank 3 xyz monster easily too

I am the one that actually just used the card archetype without zombie vampire and dark ruler. like I use the spells of punk and traps cause it more fun for me
Zombie mills 4 btw, not 3, even if you keep in mind he procs his reborn effect ya can still use oppo GY with is most likely usually, but still worth noting
You forgot the best engine to pair with PUNK, the Bishballkin package. With it you can do almost anything you ever want from FTK, summon a 6+ negate board. The package only include 1 of the 2 lv 8 synchro tuner, bishballkin, which can result in infinite link climb.
I don't use the engine for the mill, but rather just as a one card Hope Harbinger for my decks that really need one.
Its a great engine but chaos ruler either mills 5 ormills 4 and adds 1 to your hand then zombie vampire mills 4 from both deck then special summons 1 from either graveyard

the only pat i disliked is needing at least minimum 180 UR (1 deer note, 1 zombie vampire, 1 chaos ruler, the 3 UR of ishizu cards)

The p.u.n.k tearlaments variant engine explained honestly tho still not the best way to play p.u.n.k they run best as pure or as psychic synchro variant the mek knight variant is really fun and powerful too

Whoever thinks ruining the game for people that wanna play non neta decks and if y'all complain about meta decks not letting y'all play, don't play meta... Play other decks so that maybe the game can be fun again... its almost boring to know what strategy your opponent will play every time...

The graveyard is a second hand for a lot of archetypes. Zombie P.U.N.K. can go crazy if they mill just a couple good cards for example.
And thats why Chaos Ruler & Curious are banned in the TCG
I feel like I could use these with quantum. the tele has a in archtype target that also is a searcher, and they all have grave effects that help with the milling profits as well.

What are you referring to? This is not about the TCG format, this is about the Master Duel format, where Chaos Ruler is legal. These ratios are acceptable for the smaller version of the P.U.N.K. mill package.
